We entered without booking and as punishment they put us in a corner, that is, without a view of the Sesia river. And let's say
Peace, let's eat and go. Let's take the queen appetizer of Sesia, that is, smoked salmon trout... Divine. Fantastic gnocchi with Toma Piode from the town. Lasagnette with sublime vegetables for 9.5 of us, everything even the tiramisu with the kindness of a young boy who had been serving for just 4 days.
We largely forgave them for not having placed us within sight of the river given the position right above it and which it deserves.
A tip: book the river view.

With Augusto you can go easy, traditional Valsesian dishes using 0 km if not zero centimeter ingredients.

We stayed in the fishermen's hotel for two nights.
Cozy and recently renovated room, all in wood, how wonderful!
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the menu offers typical dishes of the area, truly delicious.
Abundant sweet/savoury breakfast and we really appreciated the choice to serve local products.
We found the room prices to be slightly high.

Very nice, welcoming and informal restaurant. It offers a vast range of local dishes but the most recommended are the "Baci di Piode" and the very fresh trout, which is offered in various versions. The staff is very friendly and the value for money is good. We will be back

We had lunch here on a gloomy and cold day
I can warm, bright and welcoming
We ordered 3 trout (super recommended!!!) and a good side dish, but very small in quantity
We took 1 tiramisu and 1 apple tart, both very good, one of us didn't like the tiramisu very much because it was slightly alcoholic (but really very little), I recommend if you don't like it to ask if it contains alcohol
Very beautiful location
Parking available, a few spaces in front of the entrance, but a large car park shortly after near the basketball court
Stairs to access it, we didn't notice if there was a ramp for wheelchair access
Total cost €25 each
