We come here a couple of times a year and it never disappoints: tonight the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the crostini with lard, honey and chestnuts and the crème caramel were excellent.

Wonderful. The lard with chestnuts and mille-feuille has become my favorite dish, second only to their wonderful crème caramel. I also love the service, which is fast and comfortable, and the spectacular, varied menu that perfectly reflects the local area. The dishes are perfect and delicious (and Instagrammable, too), and the portions are neither too big nor too small. In short... I love it!

Simple but well-kept atmosphere, attentive service.
The kitchen offers a good selection of traditional dishes using local ingredients.
The "baci di piode" (piode kisses) and the "gnocchetti al blu di pio" (blue cheese gnocchi) are delicious.
Among the main courses, the trout with butter and sage and the sausage with mushrooms and polenta are delicious.
As for the desserts, I believe they are all homemade.
The rhubarb tart is excellent.
Fairly priced.

A restaurant serving traditional Valsesian cuisine, always excellent. The baci di piode (a type of fried bread) and trout are a must-try.

First class hotel and restaurant, very nice and clean rooms in perfect mountain style. But the jewel in the crown is the restaurant where the chef Augusto gives his best in traditional dishes, trout in carpione with butter, baci di piode (fantastic) the only negative note is the chef's wife who is not the nicest. Instead very easy-going and professional daughter Valentina. In any case it is worth trying. An experience to remember
