For what it sets out to be, the restaurant is good. Cheap, fast, the food is okay - nothing spectacular, but well made. The restaurant is self-service, and they serve a select number of dishes until they run out. We arrived a bit late so we didn't have many options (but we were lucky to get the last 2 pieces of chicken). The staff are a bit rude, but it was the only place open in town (on a holiday). For tourists who want to have a "local" experience, I think it's a good option.

Excellent historic venue in Vicenza
I highly recommend it for everything:
the traditional cuisine and good wine;

A bustling place for locals. Really glad that we found it! The food is great (simple, hearty and home-cooked)! Prices really cheap for a restaurant in the city centre - the secondi cost 6,5€ for a generous plate.

We went for lunch. It’s fun chaos! 1. Find a table and put a placemat down. 2 get bread and wine/water. 3 peruse then ask for the food you want from the ‘buffet’ bar and carry your plate back to your table. 4 wait for staff to swoop by and start your tab. 5 when you’re finished take your tab and stand in the queue to pay. Food was good quality. Theres not a large choice, (3 secondi about E7.50 each). We also had a pasta primi. Should have tried the tiramisu! Wine E4 1/2 ltr,
