Righetti Self Service In Vicenza

A bustling place for locals. Really glad that we found it! The food is great (simple, hearty and home-cooked)! Prices really cheap for a restaurant in the city centre - the secondi cost 6,5€ for a generous plate.

Self service in the center at popular prices, varied menu

We went for lunch. It’s fun chaos! 1. Find a table and put a placemat down. 2 get bread and wine/water. 3 peruse then ask for the food you want from the ‘buffet’ bar and carry your plate back to your table. 4 wait for staff to swoop by and start your tab. 5 when you’re finished take your tab and stand in the queue to pay. Food was good quality. Theres not a large choice, (3 secondi about E7.50 each). We also had a pasta primi. Should have tried the tiramisu! Wine E4 1/2 ltr,

A vintage self-service restaurant in the heart of Vicenza. Elegant post-war atmosphere (obviously well-maintained), friendly and efficient staff, and good food for all budgets.

An institution - my scores are based of expectations and experiences. The food is simple but comes up trumps, it is self service but the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is fun but timeless. For a good value good lunch or early dinner you have to love Righetti

Ora di pranzo, siamo nella piazza a lato del Duomo ed è già la seconda volta che, in modo assolutamente casuale, sentiamo citare il Righetti. Ci andiamo e la scelta è stata vincente! Ti appronti il tavolo scelto con tovaglietta, posate etc, comunque aiutato dalle signore e ragazze del locale e poi ti metti in fila (velocissima) per scegliere i tuoi piatti che vedi scritti sulla parete o nella vetrina. Prendi quello che vuoi, ritorni a riprandere quello che ti aveva attirato e solo quando hai finito, dopi il caffè che ti portano loro, vai tranquillamente alla cassa, dichiari ciò che hai preso e paghi. In tutto questo ho omesso di dire che la qualità delle pietanze è molto alta e non ha nulla a che fare con l'immaginario collettivo legato alla parola self service. Bella formula. Bravi, bravi!!

Il ristorante è un self service, nel senso che le portate e le bevande si ordinano e prendono direttamente ai banconi e si portano a tavola, alla stessa modalità di una mensa - In generale, però, c'è sempre il personale che controlla e che ti guida nelle scelte e nei movimenti - Il caffè, ad esempio, si ordina normalmente e viene servito (volendo ) al tavolo - La qualità del cibo era molto buona, in particolare il baccalà con polenta. Esperienza valida e da consigliare.
