The rustic sandwiches at the kiosk are delicious if you're looking for something a little more indulgent. The restaurant offers sophisticated dishes and gluten-free options, and you can't leave without a dessert: the hazelnut and chocolate cake is a real treat. Last but not least, the staff is courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. Beautiful refuge, very good and carefully prepared dishes, fantastic flavors, excellent beer, and attentive and friendly staff. We returned a few weeks later just for lunch, and we're not even from the area!!! Kudos to you!

We were there on a sunny, cool day, with few people, so my opinion might be biased. We were warmly welcomed (we're in Carnia, so that's not a given) with such kindness from the start that you feel like a regular. You can feel the culture and respect for everything. They even organized entertainment for the little ones. Excellent, local food. I didn't expect all this at a refuge at 1,600 meters. Will we be back? Of course, without a doubt. Great job, guys, it gives me goosebumps. Hey, Carnia, make them your point of reference.

Al Fiume Stella

30/10/2025: The restaurant is simply romantic, situated right on one of the many rivers in this marine delta and even accessible by boat. It's perfect for individual diners as well as larger events. The service is smart and attentive. The menu offers a sophisticated yet classic selection. You can expect generous portions, with a focus on fish. The wine selection is excellent. The price-performance ratio is fair and perfectly acceptable for the quality offered. I would definitely recommend making a reservation during peak season. Tip: One thing that could be improved (though it's not directly related to the restaurant) is the numerous potholes on the narrow path, which is bordered on both sides by a water-filled ditch and doesn't allow for any speedy progress! Be careful of oncoming traffic. All in all, well worth a visit! PS: If you like my review, I'd appreciate a thumbs up! 😁👍

10/11/2025: A top-notch accommodation in Gemona. Eleonora is an incredibly friendly host. You immediately feel warmly welcomed. The rooms are brand new and clean, and the bed is simply comfortable. A generous breakfast is provided, and everything is tastefully decorated. A tip: the attached osteria is also worth a visit – just drop in for a drink and a meal. We will definitely be back!
