A spectacular refuge on the road to the Piave River Springs from Cima Sappada, easily accessible by car. Delicious traditional dishes; we ordered tagliatelle with venison ragù and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, as a main course, along with the ever-present frico. Highly recommended.

Worth a stop after a day of trekking in Val Sesis. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is lovely with outdoor seating. There's a running fountain next to the refuge.
