Very welcoming and well-kept. The food is traditional and tasty. The desserts are also superb. The view is worth the climb.

We reached it after a long, tiring walk in the rain, but despite that, the experience was wonderful. I purchased mountain pine syrup and a herbal tea. The owners were very friendly.

Beautifully renovated, a beautiful place with a stunning view. Fabulous dinner. The owner and staff are very friendly. They are very dog-friendly. We've been coming back every year since 2025. The place is always fabulous, the dishes are authentic and delicious, and the staff is always friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

August 10, 2025 In the afternoon, the owner picked us up in Sappada with her pickup truck, and we drove to the refuge. We spent one night in that corner of paradise. The rooms are all decorated differently, immersing you immediately in the mountain atmosphere. Dinner was exceptional, with traditional dishes prepared with meticulous attention to detail, using only local products. After dinner, we sat on the terrace to admire the starry sky from up there, hoping to spot a shooting star on the night of San Lorenzo. A special thanks to Kirsten and her entire team. We'll be back!

The climb to get there is quite a bit, but the view is beautiful. The food is more restaurant-style than classic mountain hut fare.

Dopo una bella "scarpinata" siamo giunti a questo rifugio molto carino e caratteristico. La vista sulla vallata e sulle montagne ripaga la fatica ed abbiamo deciso di fermarci a mangiare anche perchè c'era un venticello "fresco". Un primo, un secondo, acqua birra un dolce e due caffe 58,90, direi un po' caro per essere un rifugio. In ogni caso usciti soddisfatti e quindi per una volta va bene così
