For the second time, staying at the refuge with the Carrara youth mountaineering group, I found the atmosphere welcoming and clean. The professionalism of the owners and staff was excellent.

A truly excellent refuge, where the food is very good and plentiful. I highly recommend the gnocchi and the stew. The staff is friendly and helpful. The walk to get there, surrounded by nature, takes about two hours in winter due to snow, but it's very pleasant. I highly recommend it; my only regret is that dogs are not allowed inside the facility, although this information is provided at the start of the walk. It's also advisable to book in advance.

We ate on a beautiful day of wind and snow. The staff were very welcoming. The food was truly good, prepared with attentive, smiling service. The price was fair for us. It was a great place to stop after a decent hike through fresh snow, not much traveled on the trail.
Having not stayed overnight, I can't comment on the rooms, but the stars are for the clean and well-kept bathrooms.

Super fast service and super helpful staff, I gave one less star because we had to eat outside, having a dog with us, in the shade, with minus 2 degrees... if there had been an outside heater, something that could warm us up a bit, it would have been perfect

Rifugio Magià isn't just a beautiful, clean facility in an excellent
location.
But its strength is the welcome offered by the owners and their entire staff.
100% recommended
...all you have to do is go and say hello to the legendary Dario.

An easy, almost flat walk through stunning scenery. The refuge is beautiful, and the food is top-notch: the polenta concia and desserts are excellent. Go and you'll be happy and satisfied.

The food is decent but not making Wi-Fi available to customers is just not a good idea (since there is no cell phone coverage). I wouldn't go back there again.
