After a nice walk we stopped to eat in this refuge on a Sunday at the end of August. The environment is quiet, the service is excellent and everyone is very helpful. Fantastic food, we took the mixed platter with cold cuts and cheeses to share, gnocchi with bleu and polenta with bleu. Good prices considering you leave with a full belly!

The Rifugio Magià is not just a beautiful, clean structure in an excellent location.
But its strength is the welcome given by the owners and all its staff.
100% recommended
...all you have to do is go there to say hello to the legendary Dario.

Una sola precisazione che riguarda il prezzo. Se la polenta con salsiccia costa 12 euro, perché se chiedo un piatto di polenta concia senza alcun condimento costa sempre 12 euro ?
Polenta comunque ottima.

Up on the mountain bike.... 21 km of asphalted road from Nus to Porliod with never too steep slopes.. then 6 km of dirt road on a slight slope with an impeccable surface lead to the beautiful refuge.... continuing on the steep dirt road on the left you arrive in not even a very hard km to a small lake... beautiful views.....

We had a great lunch, the service was fast and the food was excellent. The staff is super friendly. The walk to reach the refuge is panoramic and easy. A beautiful valley. Also recommended for children, the walk takes about 2 hours, practically all flat on the dirt road.

We stayed 1 night with friends, wonderful place, young and helpful staff, perfect cleanliness (often you don't find such cleanliness in hotels, so well done), excellent dinner, the only note about the breakfast which needs to be improved.
