The structure is completely new, including the rooms and bathrooms. Everything clean. We ate well and lots of it (the pannacotta with chocolate cream was spectacular). The managers are kind and helpful. Excellent location for different types of excursions, in all seasons. A great refuge, I will definitely return.

We opted for half board. The structure is very clean, especially the services, and the kitchen staff was very attentive and prepared to serve an excellent dinner with vegan dishes. We'll be back.

Great Place to have a hearty lunch after a beautiful hike to the Refuge. For steer the lunch, I absolutely recommend to keep following the track that keeps going into the valley. After about 30mins of easy hiking the valley becomes incredibly beautiful and serene.

The walk to Magià is very quiet also because it has very little difference in altitude, making it suitable for bicycles and even strollers. There are many sections exposed to the sun, so I recommend a nice hat and lots of sun cream. In about an hour and a half from the Porliod picnic area car park you arrive in this beautiful valley at the bottom of which is the refuge. There are plenty of seats thanks to the two internal rooms and in my case, despite it being two in the afternoon on a super crowded Sunday, the food was served to us immediately. The idea of ​​placing the placemat with all the refuges in the Valley is very nice, an excellent starting point for other walks. In conclusion, an excellent walk to do with family and friends. The wonderful place and the excellent food.

We went with friends, you park the car, it's 6km on the flat to get there, so you can also go by bike or with children, a very pleasant walk in this splendid valley with the river flowing, the refuge is really large and new, very clean and the young and friendly staff. It is possible to pay by card, I recommend you make a reservation to eat as there are always people. Ate appetizers, cured meats, cheeses €12, various types of polenta €13, and wine. absolutely recommended.

We went to eat and this isn't the first time nor the last. The small sausage with polenta concia and the desserts were excellent, unfortunately the appetizer platter had cured meats that had not been sliced ​​at the time and this affected the flavor and the eye.

I was there on the occasion of an initiative linked to cross-country skiing. Being partners they provided polenta and sausage. Exquisite. Very sociable, kind, pleasant staff. I was surprised that coffee in a refuge costs only 1 euro. It's a very rare thing. Breathtaking environment, far from any inhabited center. Reachable by anyone. There is practically no climb. A bit of a long journey. Departure from the Saint Barthelemy picnic area. Highly recommended in all seasons.
