Rifugio Federico Chabod In Valsavarenche

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant, a 10-minute walk from the campsite. We are two families with children (10 in total). The service was friendly and helpful, and the owners were attentive. Excellent traditional food, from appetizer to dessert. Everything was superb.

Just ate and very well, excellent starting and finishing point before and after ascents and descents.

The best place to eat in Valsavarenche, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is priceless. Sun loungers available, and the Ginspritz is a must-try. Number 1. See you soon!!!

Wonderful mountain refuge, in a spectacular location, with excellent local cuisine

A wonderful retreat, for its location, its rooms, and its average, well-prepared food. I'd also like to highlight the friendliness of the manager, Marina; she couldn't be more charming and a great problem-solver.

I loved the refuge—it was cozy, clean, and in a wonderful setting. The rooms had bathrooms and the food was fantastic. The best part was the staff, especially Marina, the top manager.

Typical Aosta Valley dishes, prepared with care. The young, helpful, and friendly owners and staff are attentive to their guests. Clean and well-maintained spaces; a relaxed, family atmosphere. About a 10–15-minute walk from the Pont parking lot along a flat dirt road, also suitable for strollers or electric wheelchairs. Excellent lawned outdoor seating and stone/wood interiors with views of the forest: a truly natural setting. Genespritz is top!

Today I had lunch with friends at the restaurant, the food was very good as was the service, thanks to all the staff for the various recommendations.... See you next time
