Located at the start of the dirt path leading to the summit of Pietra, it's the perfect spot for those descending and enjoying refreshments, and those ascending for a coffee. The restaurant has a veranda, which can be used year-round (in good weather), and you can sample local specialties. Upstairs, there's an apartment with several beds. Please note that to reach it, you can choose between a flight of steps or a fairly steep climb, accessible to most but not for everyone.

I only had two ham and cheese sandwiches from the counter, which I must say were very good. They were heated up on the spot. €4 each. The classic and mountainous Erbazzone were very cheap (I don't remember). You have to book the day before due to the crowds, which we mistakenly didn't do. First and second courses, appetizers, and snacks.
Second time for a group lunch: delicious dishes.

Early Saturday afternoon, we were looking for a place to eat. After several attempts, we called Rifugio della Pietra, where they reserved and set a table for us.
The atmosphere was simple and genuine, spartan just the way I like it.
The fried gnocco was the best I've ever eaten. It wasn't greasy, it was soft, and the perfect thickness. It had a unique flavor, delicious on its own, but when stuffed, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rated it a 12.
In addition to the fried gnocco, we had a very good gramigna pasta with sausage, excellent tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, very tender sliced beef with porcini mushrooms, excellent local pecorino cheese with acacia honey, an excellent and plentiful green salad, good grilled vegetables, excellent zuppa inglese, and an excellent red fruit cheesecake. Drinks included still water and a half liter of the house Lambrusco, which was delicious and tasty. The service was also very friendly, kind, and pleasant.
We also had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, who also struck us as very genuine and authentic. He who cooks, eats, and leaves nothing to chance. An excellent place in a unique setting that always puts you in a good mood and in harmony with planet Earth.
We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The restaurant is located in a very picturesque spot, right under the Bismantova stone. The restaurant is simply furnished, with tables arranged in a large room. There's also a bar with outdoor seating.
The staff is friendly and attentive.
The service is prompt. The food was excellent: for two, we ate a first course, a second course, and a side dish with two drinks, and we spent less than €40. The place was recommended to us by the owners of the farmhouse where we were staying, and I must say it was a very good choice.
