Early Saturday afternoon, we were looking for a place to eat. After several attempts, we called Rifugio della Pietra, where they reserved and set a table for us. The atmosphere was simple and genuine, spartan just the way I like it. The fried gnocco was the best I've ever eaten. It wasn't greasy, it was soft, and the perfect thickness. It had a unique flavor, delicious on its own, but when stuffed, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rated it a 12. In addition to the fried gnocco, we had a very good gramigna pasta with sausage, excellent tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, very tender sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms, excellent local pecorino cheese with acacia honey, an excellent and plentiful green salad, good grilled vegetables, excellent zuppa inglese, and an excellent red fruit cheesecake. Drinks included still water and a half liter of the house Lambrusco, which was delicious and tasty. The service was also very friendly, kind, and pleasant. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, who also struck us as very genuine and authentic. He who cooks, eats, and leaves nothing to chance. An excellent place in a unique setting that always puts you in a good mood and in harmony with planet Earth. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The restaurant is located in a very picturesque spot, right under the Bismantova stone. The restaurant is simply furnished, with tables arranged in a large room. There's also a bar with outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and attentive. The service is prompt. The food was excellent: for two, we ate a first course, a second course, and a side dish with two drinks, and we spent less than €40. The place was recommended to us by the owners of the farmhouse where we were staying, and I must say it was a very good choice.

The atmosphere is typical of a mountain hut, with hikers arriving and departing. We ate outside under the umbrellas, and it was pleasant. The traditional Reggio Emilia dishes were delicious and plentiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. There's a paid parking lot a few hundred meters below. We had reserved a table, and I recommend doing so just to be safe. Recommended.

My uncle, my brother, and I went for lunch after a nice hike. The food was really good, with generous portions, and above all, the quality and price were truly top-notch. WONDERFUL Recommended
