Rifugio Barfè In Angrogna

Truly enchanting. The owners are kind and welcoming. I didn't try the food, but I did try a platter of high-quality cured meats and cheeses. The walk through the woods is worth it; it's truly enjoyable, but requires a little effort.

The refuge is easy to reach, with a nice hike suitable for children too. Excellent food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The flan with bagna cauda was superb!!! The lady was very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

A quiet spot in the middle of the Waldensian woods, easily reached on foot. The restaurant has been open for over 30 years, always maintaining the same spirit, featuring local dishes and locally sourced products, with a touch of inventiveness from the chef. Everything is delicious. Reservations are required.

We reached this refuge on foot, following a path through nature. Once we arrived, since we'd already eaten, we ordered two delicious desserts and two equally delicious mint and nettle liqueurs. The hosts were friendly. We'll be back to try the other dishes.

At the Rifugio Barfé, you can enjoy traditional local dishes, prepared with care and authenticity, in the welcoming indoor dining room or on the outdoor terrace, where the view sweeps enchantingly across the surrounding peaks.

Well, to say it was perfect for everything we were offered is to really belittle a place that should be defined as sacred, for the welcome but above all for what you eat and who prepares it. Really well done.
