Had dinner on the 24th on the occasion of a birthday... fish and other dishes, carefully prepared and delicious, made with all the passion that is reflected in the flavors of southern cuisine, friendly and helpful staff. What can we say about the bread they serve at the table, made personally by the owner... it's simply sublime.

Un angolo di Salento nella piana bergamasca. Giornata uggiosa. Tempo grigio. Entri da retrobottega e ti accoglie un locale piacevole ma non esagerato, cibi buoni con una ampia scelta vegetariana, personale simpatico, acqua sfusa (che è sempre un plus). Unico difetto: niente vino sfuso. Per il resto assolutamente da provare se passate da Treviglio. Ottimo il risotto allo Zola, i ravioli con la burrata, le polpette di pane, le lasagne di verdure. Niente carne quando non serve. Bravi!

I was pleasantly surprised by everything. Very good dishes, where the quality of the raw materials reigns supreme. The chef is as exquisite as the dishes proposed and personally brought to the table. Wines for all tastes and budgets. The location? A real gem! Intimate, few seats and well-kept. The bill? It reflected the honesty, simplicity and humility of the innkeeper ♥️ I will certainly return.

We had lunch on a Sunday. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Nice place, even the decor is welcoming. Good traditional Apulian food, appetizing. Fast service, even though the place was full. We will be back.

Scusate se non condivido foto, ma era tutto così buono che non ha fatto in tempo a farsi fotografare. Cibo delizioso in un’atmosfera genuina e che sa di Salento. Pochi piatti, ben curati, elaborati e studiati da chi ha una marcia in più. Fermarsi al Retrobottega significa fermare il tempo e immergersi in una esperienza, un po’ come quando vai a cena a casa di un caro amico che non vedevi da tanto tempo…
