24/03/2026: Very nice place, good food, very friendly staff
02/12/2025: Sunday, November 30, 25. Arrived at 1:35 PM after visiting the sanctuary. Greeted with the most beautiful, heartfelt smile one could hope for, they set up a large walnut table for me, and we began with the drinks: given that I don't like the mayor's water, so I'll skip it, the wines... I don't like barrel-aged wines, not even a little, so the super-patient lady with a kind smile brings me four different bottles. I apologize, saying, ...if everyone did as I do, you'd still be serving appetizers to those who came in at noon. But you, imperturbable, with your serene smile, ...don't worry, take your time. Read the labels, in the end, none of them said anything about it, I skip the review (too often overused, inconsistent) and choose a red from the Roman hills... excellent!! The appetizers of the three, ...huh..?! . Another super accommodating lady gets me out of trouble... I make her a trio... the bread that the various delicious little dishes required, they were my downfall... but it was necessary, I forgot, I moved a beautiful bowl, generously filled with a beautiful Russian salad, I didn't want my tears to fall into it, sacrificed for the rest. I move on to the first course, fresh pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms and mushroom cream. A delight, it deserved more than a sandwich to go with it, I forced myself to say NO, to make room for..... But I can't take it anymore, ... I feel like crying at the three main courses, and at the delicious off-menu dishes... boned rabbit and lampredotto. I move on to the good coffee with a small bottle of house Amaro at my disposal. But I won't give up, I'll come back with more friends and we'll show them off....
