The menu offers local products and very fresh fish.
Good wine list.
Original and expertly studied combinations.
We appreciated the purple shrimp tartare with its sauces, the burrata, the fresh pasta filled with grouper and roasted cherry tomatoes, then arriving at the grilled shrimp and scampi, finishing with a decidedly sublime chocolate, rum and orange dessert.
We left with a smile after dinner and with a wonderful memory to take home.
Retro Gusto ABSOLUTELY recommended!

Good address in the restaurant-filled Otranto. Mentioned in the Michelin Guide, which creates expectations. Which come true. Dining at a high level. Pleasant service, no exaggerated bill. In short: recommended.

TASTE AND RETRO TASTE
A modern, essential and well-kept place, it offers modern, refined cuisine rooted in the territory. We tasted a bit of everything, including appetizers and first courses, noting excellent taste and knowledge in proposing local and typical products as well as mastery and care in the presentation of the dishes. Good wine cellar.
Alessandro and his staff take care of everything in detail, I would say putting their heart into it, pampering the customers.

Enjoyed the catch of the day lobster with fresh pasta. Really delicious fresh and a picture on the plate. Service very friendly and time for a chat. An absolute must. Michelin 2025.

We spent a wonderful evening in this restaurant during our vacation in Puglia. We chose a mixed grill of fish and two plates of grilled calamari, all very fresh fish accompanied by local wine recommended by the manager. All the waiters were kind and helpful.

La prima foto non corrisponde al ristorante. Che si trova in centro di Otranto in una via laterale con scorcio sul mare. Abbiamo mangiato bene a parte il polipo (antipasto) che era in po’ duro. Nel complesso però tutto ok. Pesce fresco e ben cucinato.
