Excellent and I would say the best fish restaurant in Otranto. Quality, kindness and professionalism reign supreme. Very fresh fish offered with truly imaginative dishes full of love. A stop not to be missed if you visit Otranto.

"RETRO GUSTO" is one of my favorite stops when I am in Otranto. Excellent chef's dishes, very fresh quality fish. A journey into authentic flavors associated with the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Congratulations to all the staff for their great commitment and professionalism. Highly recommended

One of the best dinners in Otranto. Nice atmosphere, we had dinner on the entrance terrace. Very good service, setting and atmosphere and quality of the food. I recommend the tagliatelle with prawns, turmeric, cherries, slivered almonds and mint, very successful, heavenly, and the red tuna tartare. Excellent! Great dinner. to return

ristorante migliore di tutta otranto in assoluto, cucina ricercata attenta e materie prime di alta qualità. Il secondo piatto (l'ombrina) da uscire fuori di testa, una cottura a bassa temperatura condita da una melanzana spaziale. Prezzi nella norma cortesia e qualità impeccabili!

I chose this restaurant reading the super positive reviews. All deserved! Excellent fish, excellent dishes and very friendly staff. The raw was really delicious! Dinner in this restaurant was the icing on the cake of our tour of Otranto.

Piatti originali, abbinamenti ricercati e ben curati, una nota di merito per il risotto al nero di seppia (piatto del giorno). Proprietario molto simpatico e cordiale. Prezzi giusti per la quantità e qualità dei piatti. Consigliato!

14/10/2024: Beautiful location, welcoming and enveloping, with tables both inside and outside. It's very reminiscent of Greece. The dishes are all delicious and worth trying. Excellent price quality. The staff is friendly and always smiling and the owner is always friendly too.

01/01/2025: New Year's Eve lunch with a fixed menu. We left the restaurant all satisfied and I swear that we were unable to consume everything that was brought to the table. Recipes from the past and typical products of our own production. Roundup of appetizers, 2 first courses, dessert, coffee, bitters, and drinks included. Compliments to the staff. I recommend it to everyone. Quiet and very characteristic environment.
06/12/2024: Excellent inn-restaurant, truly beautiful summer location, the upper terraces overlooking the beautiful historic center of Matino! Classic and also revisited dishes, certainly genuine, in fact they use seasonal raw materials, for example, now that it is September, there are various dishes with figs. Definitely recommended! The very kind chef who owns the restaurant (there is also a B&B) makes sure that everything is ok and that the customers are satisfied. Update December 2024, always kind and excellent homemade dishes, for the winter it is characteristic to eat in the underground oil mill. You can also arrive by car but you then have to park in the square or under the main street. There is also an elevator to reach the upper floors
