The chef is a charming guy, and his dishes perfectly convey a carefully crafted culinary journey. The dining room was served admirably by a mother and daughter, who deserve compliments for their hospitality. Recommended.

A place where hospitality, kindness and professionalism make you feel truly good while you live a food and wine experience of the highest quality. We chose the tasting menu "The journey", a journey through smells, colors, aromas, flavors of worlds near and far, of history and culture, of harmony and beauty. And when you get to the end, you already know that you will return because that "journey" cannot be forgotten. Chef Paolo Gramaglia, his wonderful wife and all the staff are an authentic excellence of the territory.

We had made a reservation and that evening we happened to be the only ones in the restaurant. We were served to our every need and had a delicious meal. A real taste sensation!!!

The experience of the starred restaurant is not only a gastronomic experience in the strict sense of the term, but it is equivalent to giving yourself a moment of pure pampering and pleasure, a bit like when you choose to treat yourself to a few hours in a Spa. Paolo Laila Gramaglia took care of pampering and guiding us during lunch, and it is true what they say: behind, or as I prefer to say, next to a great man there is always a great woman: no one better than Laila could present Paolo's dishes, explain their history, exalt the raw materials and combinations. I do not want to dwell on the courses so as not to take away the pleasure of experiencing this fantastic experience first-hand; what I can tell you is that it largely satisfied my expectations! A menu full of ideas and flavours, paired with divine wines. Laila and her dining room staff were fantastic! In gita a Pompei ho visitato insieme a mia moglie questo locale giustamente insignito di una stella Michelin. Già la telefonata di prenotazione è degna di stella, uno dei pochi locali che non richiedono la cauzione denota un livello superiore che è il preludio ad un'accoglienza veramente unica e familiare dove si respira tutta la passione di chi ha svolto un grande lavoro che si concretizza nei piatti elaborati dallo chef in modo impeccabile. Interessantissime le rielaborazoni in chiave moderna della cucina (e del pane!) dell'antica Pompei, senza eccessi ma con grande equilibrio non facile da mantenere quando sono trascorsi più di 2000 anni. I vini del territorio sono stati la scelta giusta per accompagnare la nostra cena con i dessert finali che ci hanno lasciato un dolce ricordo della Campania. Ci piace visitare i ristoranti segnalati dalla guida Michelin durante i nostri viaggi di piacere e questo è stato sicuramente uno di quelli che abbiamo apprezzato maggiormente e sicuramente torneremo a trovare lo chef e la gentilissima consorte. Dinner for two. We felt pampered right from the booking when the restaurant was on holiday and they still responded to us and privileged to have contacted them. Intimate atmosphere and warm room service who really looked after us as if we were the most important guests, even though we were just ordinary customers. Excellent food, wine pairing that played on combinations that were absolutely not obvious (the welcome Franciacorta on the mise en bouche and the French rosé were particularly appreciated). Total praise for the spreadable oil, AMAZING preparation! The chef was keen to explain to us how much research was behind it and it's a good thing, because it's one of those things that strikes you and pushes you to want to know more. At the end of the evening we also had the pleasure of sharing the last glass with him. A truly great experience, absolutely recommended.

Pranzo domenicale in questo intimo ed elegante ristorante nel centro di Pompei. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente dalla gentilissima proprietaria (moglie dello chef). In sala anche un cameriere educatissimo e molto professionale. Menú del territorio con qualche variazione esotica ma pur sempre di gusto casalingo. Tra amouse bouche, antipasti, primi, secondi, pre dessert, dolci, coccole finali, ci hanno veramente viziato, lasciandoci andare via con un bellissimo ricordo. Il cuoco e’ anche venuto al tavolo per fare due chiacchiere con noi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto questo momento così abbiamo potuto scoprire che e’ veramente una persona squisita come lo sono anche i suoi piatti. Stella Michelin meritatissima. Da ritornarci!!
