Restaurant Lo Scalo In Cannobio

Probably one of the best restaurants in Cannobio. I was there in summer 24 and fall 2024. Both times the food was exceptionally good. 5 stars +

We went to Lo Scalo for dinner on the last day of our vacation. The table was reserved on the terrace. There was an outdoor heater which made it comfortable for us to sit on this chilly day. The food was wonderful. The Vitello Tonnato was a very good, original interpretation. The following porcini mushrooms with pasta were the best pasta dish with mushrooms that I have ever had in a restaurant. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the porcini mushrooms were fresh, the black truffle completed the dish very well. The tiramisu at the end of the menu was also great. The service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, we found the food very good, the portions large enough, and the prices, even for the bottle of wine, reasonable.

Good food for a good price, we had 2 different pizzas, both were very good. You are served quickly and the wait for your food is not long.

A beautiful restaurant, great ambience, delicious food! Friendly owners, great service team, very attentive and everyone on their toes! The best beef fillet ever! Capresse...a dream! Tiramisu... a dream!!!! Everything is beautifully prepared, every dish is a work of art! Highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful hours with you!

Fanatical! Incredibly delicious food, from starter to dessert! Went there 4 times and were thrilled every time! Capresse, tartare, beef fillet, lamb, pizza, tiramisu, cheesecake and more are highly recommended! Were served very warmly and had a pleasant stay. The price is also totally affordable, very pleasing! Visited a few restaurants there, but none came close!

The absolute best restaurant on the boardwalk! In total, we ate here three times during our vacation and every dish was absolutely delicious! I can't understand the reviews about the pizza, my partner and I both had different pizzas and both were very good. The beef fillet was the most tender and best fillet I have ever eaten! The dessert was also excellent in taste. The boss speaks German, so you can communicate very well. Overall, the staff was very nice and accommodating. In addition, you can't complain at all about the price, you get great food here at a fair and good price. We were really very excited. Absolute recommendation!

The food was good. We had spaghetti with seafood and it was good, however I don’t think it was worth the price - next time I would pick something else. We also had seafood and bruschetta as appetizers and this I can really recommend. The view is definitely a plus.
