historical accommodation with star cuisine for 2 nights, right next to the train station opposite Kastelbell Castle

We had a wonderful evening in the Kuppelrain and were pampered very attentively. The menu sequence was flexibly adapted to our preferences and all courses (7 + 3) exceeded expectations. The recommended local wines were delicious and played harmoniously with the flavors of the valley ingredients. A big thank you to the whole Trafoier family, especially to the kitchen, who prepared everything so perfectly.

Posto incantevole, cibo decisamente ottimo, con ottimi abbinamenti dei vini. Padroni di casa SUPER. Un posto trovato per caso durante una bella pedalata costeggiando l’Adige. Una chicca con un panorama che da al bellissimo castello di Castelbello. Ci siamo ritornati anche una sera per cena. All’altezza delle aspettative. TOP

Das Abendessen in diesem Gourmetrestaurant war eine wahre Offenbarung für die Sinne. Die Küche hat es geschafft, die einzigartigen Aromen Südtirols in jedem Gericht kunstvoll hervorzuheben. Die kreativen Kreationen auf unseren Tellern waren nicht nur optisch beeindruckend, sondern auch geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Jede Zutat war sorgfältig ausgewählt und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, um ein harmonisches Geschmackserlebnis zu bieten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die Weinbegleitung: Wir durften uns durch eine Auswahl herausragender Weine in großen Flaschen probieren, die uns mit viel Sachverstand und Leidenschaft von der Gastgeberin erklärt wurden. Diese Weine ergänzten die Speisen perfekt und hoben das gesamte kulinarische Erlebnis auf ein noch höheres Niveau. Der gesamte Abend war geprägt von einer warmen, herzlichen Atmosphäre, die zweifellos auf den eingespielten Familienbetrieb zurückzuführen ist. Die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberfamilie waren spürbar und haben uns von Anfang an willkommen geheißen. Zum krönenden Abschluss wurden wir mit traumhaften Pralinen, handgefertigt von der Tochter des Hauses, verwöhnt. Diese kleinen Kunstwerke waren der perfekte Abschluss für einen rundum gelungenen Abend. Ein Abendessen, das man so schnell nicht vergisst und das höchste Anerkennung verdient! Every course is a taste experience that pampers the senses. The wine selection is impressive and harmonizes perfectly with the dishes on offer. The service is first class: The staff is attentive, friendly and extremely competent, making you feel like you are in good hands right from the start. The ambience of the restaurant is elegant and cozy at the same time, with a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape that makes dining an even more special experience. The only small drawback is that the prices are in the upper segment, but this is absolutely justified given the quality and the overall experience. Overall, Restaurant Kuppelrain is an excellent choice for gourmets and lovers of fine dining.
