The octopus we tasted were above all expectations, fresh, only boiled with lemon oil and a little chilli, cooked in the best Sicilian tradition. The menu as a whole is excellent. Very recommended.

Very fresh fish! First choice. Informal environment, fast service, few demands. Very high quality. Spaghetti with clams top. Try mixed fried fish and octopus salad as well as seafood risotto. Excellent fish soup (to be ordered a few days in advance). Widen wine choice, otherwise one of the best restaurants in Syracuse!

This place is ideal for feeling the real Syracuse vibe, if you are interested in fish, you definitely need to visit here. food is very tasty, not much in verities but tasty <3

Now an obligatory stop for a good mussel soup and a great mixed fried dish. We celebrated 24 years of marriage with lots of taste and simplicity. One of our favorite places for more than twenty years now.

Un buon ristorante di pesce, fresco e ben cucinato, un po' di attesa ma ne vale la pena. Non tutti i piatti presenti nel menù ci sono sempre ma la ragione è molto semplice : si tratta di pesce fresco, del pescato del giorno. Consigliato!!

05/10/2024: The lovely place, kind and very nice service, FABULOUS food!!!! And quite large portions, exceptional raw materials!!! Cooked very well!!! Spent very little!!! I ate the best bruschetta of my life! Seafood salad then, crazy! Even the aperitif last night was boooooooooo 🍹🍹

Trattoria C'Era Una Volta

03/10/2024: Authentic Italian cuisine awaits you here. Not necessarily Sicilian classics, more like what we know from Italians in Germany. We had carbonara and it was prepared the way it should be. The ambience is a bit plain, but everything is clean. We were served nicely, but it took a little longer.
21/07/2024: The lady and her husband have a unique kindness and spontaneity, you feel and eat like at grandma's house ❤️ the lady made us find the pork sauce as requested on the phone yesterday, delicious, like everything else. All prepared and served with care and love. Always a guarantee to come back here, see you again very soon!
