Finally, a restaurant like it used to be. We visited this restaurant last December and found a welcoming atmosphere, tasty but not heavy food, and finally decent portions. We were traveling with a small child and received a lot of understanding. The homemade desserts were truly delicious. If I ever return to Gaeta, I'll definitely return.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, we dined on the veranda, we had a table set up.
Disappointed with the food: the mussels weren't cleaned properly, the poached octopus didn't taste good, I sent the dish back almost intact, the bread seemed stale...we were very disappointed.

A very successful evening at Re Ferdinando II: The restaurant is idyllically situated by a small park, and we were immediately warmly welcomed by the owner. The owner and the service team were also very friendly and attentive.
We started with mussels, followed by the Fegatini Ferdinando – the absolute highlight for us – and a grilled sea bream for the main course. The meal was accompanied by an excellent Arneis from Piedmont.
All in all: outstanding food, very good value for money, and a warm atmosphere. Thank you very much – we would gladly return.
