The food is AMAZING. The people care a lot about hospitality and clearly pour a lot of love and time into the preparation. That’s all there is to it. Great wine pairings suggested by the server (who might have also cooked a lot of the food?)
Only inside seating which normally I would be turned off by but is great. Loved it 10/10, ate and enjoyed every bite.

This nice, little, cozy restaurant in the town of Montelcino was a good stop for dinner on one night of our trip. The waiter and staff were incredible, explaining all of the dishes and helping with wine selection!
The wine was great and from a small, local producer. We chose to go with the set menu of 4 courses; appetizers, pasta, beef and dessert (tiramisu) which was okay. I would suggest just ordering off their regular menu as for the price of this restaurant, the set menu isn't the best choice.

We're on vacation on the 4th, and we had a reservation. We ate at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service excellent, and the price was excellent. The only downside is that the place is a bit small and seating is limited, so reservations are required. Still, definitely worth a try!

At Re di Macchia restaurant, I drank the famous local Brunello red wine, paired with delicious steak and pasta. Even the bread before the meal was delicious. It was a perfect meal. The friendly service staff and the high-end and elegant decoration of the restaurant made it a very enjoyable experience.

Highly recommended traditional restaurant. The typical Tuscan food was very good.
The staff was excellent, very attentive at all times.
I would like to highlight that they have gluten-free bread and pasta.

This is a beautiful indoor restaurant with lots of character. Antonio was a lovely man who told us about the ingredients of his delicious food. Authentic Italian dishes. Highly recommend. Antonio kindly listed some villages to visit on our tour. Thank you, Chris & Antonia

The staff is very friendly, service-minded, polite and attentive. The food is just delicious. They have menus in many different languages, which we believe is quite rare in such small towns.
The ribollita soup was the best we tasted during our two weeks in Tuscany. We also had a pasta dish with rocket and nettle - yummy! Very pleasant experience, and a highly recommended restaurant.
