Delicious pizza! If you're visiting Malfa, you absolutely have to go here. I especially recommend the pizzas on the specials menu if you can't decide among the others. Fresh ingredients and lots of local variations. And definitely order dessert! It's absolutely worth it. Open on weekends outside of peak season.

We had dinner two nights in a row at U Cucunciu because we thought it was the best pizzeria in Malfa. The local red wine was delicious, the service was perfect, and the place made you feel at home. If I return to Salina Island, I'll definitely return.

This is a lovely restaurant with a large number of tables in three areas: there several next to the relatively quiet road, an indoor area and another at the back. The tablecloths and napkins are linen which is a nice touch. The seats are wrought iron and not the most comfortable - I found the horizontal bar dug into my back. The menu is very good and there is a good choice of wines too. The olive oil used to dip the bread in had the most wonderful taste. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices of Calamari Malvasia and Salina Bianco Colosi preceded by Focaccia. Service was nice and friendly, though a bit quick - we had not quite finished the Focaccia when our main dish arrived! Our meal was rounded off by Tiramisu Malvasia which was delicious. 😋 Thoroughly recommended.

My go-to place in Salina During my stay on the island, I dined at 'U Cucunciu in Malfa several times, and it has undoubtedly become my favorite place. The pizza is truly excellent, as is the seafood restaurant, which stands out for its absolute respect for the flavors of the sea: no excess, no coating, only quality ingredients showcased to the fullest. The wine selection is also very good, well-curated and in keeping with the dishes offered. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are fair for the quality offered. A place I sincerely recommend to anyone seeking authenticity, flavor, and professionalism in Salina.

It's definitely the fastest and most attentive table service in Malfa. A good pizza, not Neapolitan, that pleases everyone. The pasta is good.

"U cucunciu"—what a discovery! In the heart of Malfa, a restaurant-pizzeria, we chose somewhat at random, not knowing any other local places, and it turned out to be the right choice. Delicious pizza, ultra-light dough, and quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back to try the restaurant before we leave. A major strength, without a doubt, is the courtesy and customer service of the entire staff. Special praise goes to the sweet Serena, who, in addition to her professionalism, brings a huge smile to the table, making your stay even more enjoyable. We had a delightful chat after dinner with the owner, who engages in a friendly and eloquent conversation with his guests, making them feel at home. When you add all this to his expertise, it's a truly positive experience, and one we absolutely recommend. For us, it's definitely a place to come back to whenever we decide to return to the island.
