No stars, no stories, just excellent Emilian cuisine, Lambrusco, generous portions and reasonable prices. Involtini fritto a scream, tortellini that wink at the cappelletto reggiano and zuppa inglese from a movie that, on request, is also "loaded" with sassolino.

The classic trattoria of the past but the food is really excellent, abundant quantities and really good treatment. Stefano is very friendly.
Precisely because the place is not very big and the quality is very good I strongly recommend booking in advance (especially for the weekend)

I've been going to La Rana for at least 20 years, and very little has changed, the waiters are a little older, the chairs are more comfortable...
Fortunately, the dishes have remained the same as they were 20 years ago, in terms of quality and quantity.

A bit of a tired place but overall the food is good.
Home cooking in the strictest sense of the term. Excellent portions. Maybe a little renovation to the bathrooms would be a good thing.
Ultimately you eat well.

It continues to provide excellent quality food over time. It's always a pleasure to come back and eat there. The tortelloni with butter and sage and the pork cheeks are really excellent. Everything else is unchanged except the price which has increased slightly.

Una vera ed autentica trattoria emiliana. Cibo all'apparenza semplice molto casereccio, porzioni abbondanti e sopratutto di qualità. Locale semplice e pulito. Prezzi giusti e personale cordialissimo. Consiglio per gli amanti della buno cucina semplice e tradizionale.

Cucina genuina, porzioni abbondanti, tortellini commoventi e conto onestissimo.
Simpatici e disponibili, ambiente tradizionale, tornerò di certo.
