On Sunday, we went for lunch with some friends of ours who had found out about it through other friends. We introduced ourselves, were greeted, and seated. The kindness and friendliness of the wait staff was as evident as the deliciousness of the dishes. We had a trio of first courses (tagliatelle, lasagna, and gramigna), which were excellent. For the second course, guancialino (cheek bacon), two desserts, a sorbet, and coffee. Excellent local produce, just like being with family. Great price.

Gym lunch on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at this typical Modena restaurant. We had a set menu with an appetizer, two first courses (tagliatelle with ragù and ricotta tortelloni), a Milanese cutlet, and various meats, including roast and another type I can't remember, with stewed sides. Desserts were our choice; I had tiramisu. The only downside was that the drinks they brought us weren't very good, but all in all, it was fine.

A true trattoria like those of yesteryear. Inside, it feels like a step back in time, with few frills but all substance. The food is divine and all homemade. Prices are reasonable.
