Beautiful place to stay and incredible views from the rooftop.

The rooms and service at this hotel are great. We booked a room with a balcony facing the Arno River and loved just drinking wine and taking in the view from the room. The interior felt like a classical royal residence, decorated with large art pieces that really immersed us into the culture. It’s also a convenient walk to everything, as well as getting to and from the train station. We didn’t make too much use of the concierge but the staff was very welcoming and helpful, probably the nicest of any hotel we stayed during this trip to Italy. They lent us 2 umbrellas on the one day that it rained.

Our stay in Florence was truly unforgettable, largely thanks to Constanza at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with warmth and grace that instantly made us feel at home. Constanza’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness stood out every single day. She anticipated our needs before we even asked and handled everything with such care and compassion—it’s rare to meet someone who makes hospitality feel so personal and sincere. We also want to thank Manager Petra, whose thoughtful leadership and empathy made our experience even more special, and the tall gentleman at the concierge desk, who provided excellent recommendations and gracious assistance throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is simply the best—right in the heart of Florence, just steps away from the city’s most beautiful landmarks. The combination of outstanding service, comfort, and location made this one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

It’s a great hotel. Of course we were upgraded ($$$) to one of the riverfront balcony penthouses , which are fit for a king. There is not a better room in Florence, if that’s what you seeking. A highlight of the hotel is location, the rooftop bar and restaurant are unique and beautiful. we were shown the other king rooms and they were nice. Service and all respects in the hotel is extremely professional and friendly. The lobby is beautiful and relaxing. The location is wonderful. The food is average, nothing better than that. Highly recommended Hotel.

-Hotel- 5 stars Fantastic hotel. Upon arrival we had our luggage taken straight to our rooms, and were given a tour of the hotel, guided up to our rooms, and given a full tour of the room. We had a bottle of Chianti and some snacks at our room ready. (I cannot recall her name but this staff member was fantastic, very polite and helpful). The welcome card did have my name spelled incorrectly, which they kept calling me and my husband (my last name is Jones not James) and the card said “Happy 15th anniversary.” My husband and I are newlyweds on our honeymoon which is on Sept 15th. Very small miscommunication but it was funny to read “15th anniversary” when we have only been married a few years. Something to keep in mind for future guests, didn’t really bother me so I didn’t mention it. We had some leftovers we kept in our fridge and asked them to warm it up for us late at night. They were happy to help, and put it on a plate with a nice silver cover so it stayed warm. Location is perfect. Very walkable to everything we wanted to see and more. Our room was a little loud, the doors are not soundproof. I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The TV in the room had the best channels of any hotel we had been to. My favorite part was the window overlooking to Arno river, and the extra large bathtub. If you’re a person who enjoys a nice hot bath after a long day of waking, walk down to the Lush store and buy some bath bombs or bubbles to amp up the luxury to really enjoy the bath. I miss it already! Included breakfast was delicious and I loved that we were given fresh eggs in any style we asked for. Lovely dining room and patio to enjoy your meals. Overall, concierge and housekeeping were very friendly, and we loved our room. We would absolutely recommend and cannot wait to come back. - COSIMO Rooftop Bar - 4 stars We came here on our first night to enjoy the breathtaking views of the city, river, and to enjoy a drink. Our waiter kept forgetting my water, rather than apologizing to me (the woman and person who ordered the water) he kept apologizing to my husband. This was really rude, after asking for our water a third time he finally brought it. Need to work on customer service and not being vaguely sexist. Drinks were outrageously expensive, but you’re paying for the view and romantic ambience. I wish my phone was charged to capture the beautiful view at nighttime.

5 stars all around! from the first day I emailed the hotel about making sure both my rooms were adjoining, the staff was on the ball. even after getting my Reward upgrade they still made sure the rooms were adjoining. We walked from the train station to the hotel and the staff saw us coming down the street with luggage, they did not walk, they ran to us to help. It was an Unbelievable welcoming and it did not stop then.... (Tip Get a cab the walk its not as easy as it looks) The front desk staff was incredible, they even walked us to the room. The room was spotless with and endless amount of amenities including a gift of lemon biscotti... We unfortunately only stayed one night as we are now heading to Rome. The one night stay did not make a difference. We were treated like Royalty. Hallways are so wide rooms are beautiful and spacious staff is 5 star Location is perfect View is top notch I want to sincerely thank Every one of the staff for making my family feel special on our first trip to Florence

I celebrated my birthday at this rooftop, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff were so kind and professional, and they even surprised us, which made the day extra special. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly educated and well-mannered team — 1000% yes from me! Can’t wait to come back.

We chose to stay here because of the location and the familiar name. We were underwhelmed. Our room was not ready by 3:00 (check-in). You should not allow guests to check out so late that it delays on time check-in for confirmed guests. The registration desk staff always appeared overwhelmed. Concierge was not very kind or helpful. We asked for an iron and ironing board 3 times in an hour and never saw one. The bathroom sink would not drain though they did send maintenance up to repair it. The room walls are thin; we could hear our neighbors conversations. The rooftop bar is lovely at sunset.

The sixth-floor restaurant is excellent! Incredible view.

Beautiful hotel on the river! The age and beauty of the furnishings alone were worth the stay, but the view from our balcony was gorgeous! Roof top bar offered amazing views and excellent craft cocktails. Location was perfect for walking to all restaurants and historic sites. We never had to take a taxi anywhere. Staff was super friendly and service was top notch. They offered us an extremely romantic stay for our 20th anniversary.
