Putia del Coppo In Modica

Alas, I've yet to eat a nice bowl of fried fish here in Modicano, and I must say I was very enthusiastic! I immediately found the owners very helpful and courteous; they even offered us a bowl of fries, which was a very welcome thought! The sandwich was delicious, and after all that fried food, we didn't have any stomach aches or anything else, a testament to the lightness and authenticity of the product we ate! Congratulations again, and we'll be back soon... especially after the excellent experience.

The fried calamari rings were good. I think it's excessive to charge for a disposable paper tablecloth, and you also have to go get the food you ordered, bring it to the table, and clear it away.

We had a coppo paranza and a sandwich with fried calamari and lettuce, the gluten-free version. Everything was delicious! The staff was really kind and cheerful. It's nice to find people like that, thank you!

I give all categories a 5. I've never tasted such tasty yet light coppi. Not to mention the shrimp sandwich and the fried ricotta 😍. Besides the food, my compliments go to the service and the atmosphere... it feels like home. Thank you

We stopped with my family, a group of 10 people, for lunch here, really kind staff, and then we ate fish both sandwiches and coppi everything super good, just a little tip, ask if they want the pink sauce on the fish coppo because it is subjective whether you like it or not, everything else was good 😊

A tiny place that almost captivated us at first sight! We ordered two sandwiches: capuliato with cheese and panelle. Simple sandwiches, but made with love: the very kind lady explained the pairings and presented the day's specials, which we didn't try, though. Fair prices.

If you're passing through Modica, stop by. Even if it's just for a tile. The owners are friendly and welcoming. You might have to wait a bit if it's crowded, but trust me. The fried food and sandwiches are excellent. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Keep in mind that it's not a restaurant, but a Sicilian fast food joint, and I just don't understand some of the reviews.

My family and I happened upon this place while visiting this beautiful place. We found the people to be nothing short of fantastic, welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and the value is excellent. In addition to the fried fish, I recommend the fried ricotta and the sandwiches, which evoke all the Sicilian tradition and are made with high-quality ingredients. On our trips, we often stop at places where street food is a great option, but we've never found such an exceptional place. Highly recommended, so much so that if you find a line, be patient, because it's truly worth it! And if there's a line, there must be a reason, right? And if you're in a hurry, don't wait...you've missed an opportunity. Anyway, if we return to Modica in the future, we'll definitely be back to these lovely people! Thanks and keep up the good work!
