Pupetto Cafe In

The beachfront location of Hotel Pupetto is a huge draw, and their beach club is great, albeit pricy (such is Positano). The food served at their restaurant and beach club are also excellent, while again also being on the pricier side. The staff here are kind and generally very helpful. That being said, when paying ~€600 a night (albeit during mid August), I was quite disappointed when we were met with a unpleasant odour coming from our shower drain, and mold around the toilet panel. That being said, the view of the beach from our balcony, which was particularly special to view the Ferragosto fireworks, was wonderful. Just keep in mind that most of what you are paying for (especially during peak season) is the location, and the rooms themselves are not anything to write home about.

This hotel is highly recommended, almost exclusive, away from the crazy crowd. The rooms are spacious with sea view balcony. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The reception staff checked us in couple of hours early, I gave another star for that!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Pupetto! The location was amazing, beachside and a 5 minute walk from Positano town. It was the perfect location and did not feel as busy as Positano center. It was a hike to get to the hotel, but once we were there, we did not want to leave! The A/C was amazing after being in the sun all day. We also took advantage of the discount they provide for beach chairs at Pupetto Beach Club. This is such a gem, we will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the Amalfi Coast! Thank you again!

The view and cleanliness of the hotel is very nice but the road is really very tiring.

This is the best kept secret in Positano. It is on the beach. It is very nice and well-maintained property. The morning included breakfast was terrific overlooking the ocean. If you don't want to hike the million stairs of Positano this is the perfect alternative. It is a 5-minute walk to downtown. We cannot say enough about how helpful the staff at the hotel were. They helped us every day during our stay and even via email before our arrival. We cannot wait to visit again and Hotel Pupetto will be our "go to" accommodations.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and location. It's just off the main port of Positano and has it's own beach club that is a bit away from all the crowds. The hotel food was delicious and the room had A/C which was a huge benefit in the summer. Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return!

The customer service here is unbelievably kind and generous. Everyone should try to stay here during their trip. Lovely people!

Pasamos un día en el Pupetto Beach Club y nos alojamos a cenar en Ristorante Pupetto. El Maître D' de Pupetto hizo un trabajo increíble toda la noche. Él era atractivo, servicial y excelente en la gestión de la sala de la entidad, pero haciendo que cada mesa se sienta especial. El restaurante en sí es precioso. Abierta en el lado que da al mar, tiene una sección completamente cubierta (3 paredes) y un área abierta tanto descubierta como parcialmente cubierta bajo dosel. Esta segunda área también tenía cómodos grupos de sofás para un ambiente más informal. Hermosas flores por todas partes. El chef de Pupetto, como el anfitrión, estaba en llamas 🔥. Estaba lanzando deliciosos platos que eran obras de arte. Gracias por la bienvenida c entremeses de atún. Empezamos con el Carpaccio di tonno agli agrumi. El atún de grado sushi se marinó primero en un cítrico antes de cortarlo en rodajas finas y adornado con alcaparras de cebolla roja y una mayonesa saborizada. Me gustó cómo se dejaron los tallos en algunas alcaparras para acentuar el atractivo visual. Pedimos un Primi y un Secondi, el primero un Tagliolini agli agrumi. Para la pasta, el chef le infundió un favor cítrico y sirvió el plato con queso crescenza de búfalo, trufa negra y un sarro de langosta. El plato se acentuó con una reducción de los jugos de cocción. La otra entrada se llamaba Rombo Crunch. Era un trozo de pescado rodaballo espolvoreado con migas de pan rústico. Se terminó con hinojo, limón y espinacas. Hermosa salsa verde resultó debajo del pescado. Decidimos saltarnos el postre y terminar nuestra maravillosa botella de Sauvinon Blanc. Nuestro anfitrión nos envió más de cuatro pequeños pasteles para disfrutar con el vino y fue una manera relajante de terminar la comida. Tienes que caminar un poco para llegar a este restaurante, pero te aseguro que vale la pena esos pasos adicionales.
