Beautiful hotel, great view and location! Helpful porters to get your bags and bring them back to dock. Room furnishings a little dated but very clean. Air conditioning also worked really well and room came equipped with a steamer which was really helpful as most hotels don’t have irons for you to use.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, which was a pleasant atmosphere! Away from the main city it gave a sense of paradise and serenity. We had the garden view room and were not disappointed. Beds were comfy and clean, room was spacious, bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a delightful added bonus for us. Service was great as well. Room service was respectful and prompt. Making quick work go clean the room. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic! One of our favorite meals in our 10day honeymoon in Italy. The gnachetti with braised lamb and the slow-cooked pork shoulder were absolutely delicious!

If you're driving be sure to call the hotel and get the parking location as it's off site. You have to walk down to the hotel about 80 stair steps ! The restaurant is excellent with abgood wine list and outstanding food.

Simply a fantastic hotel. Good food, a very spacious, beautiful room with a wonderful large terrace on the second floor with direct views of the sea and the beach right outside. Very friendly service. Clean and a great bed. We didn't need our car for the entire 11 days. All excursions (Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi, Sorrento) are accessible by boat. English is easy to get by. Ideal for couples.

This is my third stay here. It’s a small family run hotel, everyone is warm and friendly. The beach is a step away to the warm sea. The beach club food is fantastic and the staff are super friendly. The rooms are clean and the one I stayed in has just been refurbished. The older part is still really nice , with an Italian feel with yellow and blue tiles. It’s a real little gem and gets booked very quickly which really says it all. The sea view from the rooms are fantastic Can’t wait to see everyone again next year.

The beachfront location of Hotel Pupetto is a huge draw, and their beach club is great, albeit pricy (such is Positano). The food served at their restaurant and beach club are also excellent, while again also being on the pricier side. The staff here are kind and generally very helpful. That being said, when paying ~€600 a night (albeit during mid August), I was quite disappointed when we were met with a unpleasant odour coming from our shower drain, and mold around the toilet panel. That being said, the view of the beach from our balcony, which was particularly special to view the Ferragosto fireworks, was wonderful. Just keep in mind that most of what you are paying for (especially during peak season) is the location, and the rooms themselves are not anything to write home about.

This hotel is highly recommended, almost exclusive, away from the crazy crowd. The rooms are spacious with sea view balcony. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The reception staff checked us in couple of hours early, I gave another star for that!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Pupetto! The location was amazing, beachside and a 5 minute walk from Positano town. It was the perfect location and did not feel as busy as Positano center. It was a hike to get to the hotel, but once we were there, we did not want to leave! The A/C was amazing after being in the sun all day. We also took advantage of the discount they provide for beach chairs at Pupetto Beach Club. This is such a gem, we will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to the Amalfi Coast! Thank you again!

The view and cleanliness of the hotel is very nice but the road is really very tiring.
