Excellent food
Excellent service, every time I can I bring friends and acquaintances to taste the delicacies of our Friuli
But this weekend I encountered rude customers, especially those who made me wonder how it's possible to show up at a restaurant with dogs 🐕.
The owners shouldn't allow owners in!!!
As soon as we arrived, a "lady" with her pet urinated at the entrance. Isn't the ashtray always placed at the entrance with bags of sh... enough? 🐕
But I wonder? People who lack affection and are only pitiful, and especially poor animals.

A wonderful experience. We chose it as a restaurant on our way home, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The space, although quite large, is welcoming and modern. The service was prompt and the staff very friendly. We had the opportunity to try some San Daniele prosciutto-based pasta dishes, and they were truly delicious. The museum room upstairs is beautiful. The prices seemed fair.

A very typical San Daniele restaurant, one of the area's historic prosciutto producers, with an authentic and refined atmosphere: it's lovely to see the hams hanging in the restaurant area. Ample free parking is available in front, very convenient. We started with an appetizer of various cured prosciuttos (16/18 and 22/24 months), all excellent and literally melting; the 24-month version was more flavorful, which may or may not be to your liking. The burrata was also excellent, well-balanced and served at just the right temperature. The first courses were truly impressive: eggplant parmigiana with prosciutto served in a pan, flavorful and well-executed, and pappardelle with creamed pumpkin, prosciutto, and smoked ricotta, perfectly balanced. The pork shank was also very good, tender and perfectly cooked; the baked potatoes were decent, some a bit too floury. The only real drawback was the wait: about 40 minutes for appetizers and first courses, despite the restaurant not being busy. The service, however, was kind and friendly. The opportunity to visit the small prosciutto museum upstairs is interesting. The service is average. The price is absolutely fair: €70 for two first courses, a generous appetizer, a second course, and drinks. An authentic experience worth it.

Modern prosciutteria in the ham paradise of San Daniele.
Contemporary, modern ambiance with good food and ham tasting.
Afterwards, you can also purchase selected Italian specialties, including San Daniele ham of various curing times.
A stop on your Italian trip is well worth it.

I went there for lunch with friends from Puglia. The best place to experience San Daniele Prosciutto tasting. A large, characteristic restaurant, the aroma of Prosciutto wafts through the air as soon as you enter. The restaurant extends to the left, while to the right is a shopping area where, in addition to Prosciutto, you can purchase local and international products...all of the highest quality. The museum upstairs is very interesting, well-curated and detailed. At the restaurant, you can taste, in addition to Proscitto, various typical local specialties. Everything looks and tastes excellent. The dishes are carefully prepared and served. Even the desserts are not disappointing. The wines are excellent, including the Ramandolo for dessert. Highly recommended for anyone passing through these parts...a must-see.

Today, December 26th, we found ourselves immersed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the staff was always helpful and friendly! Definitely worth a try!

Great food, amazing environment, there is also a mini prosciutto museum. However, the prices are very much inflated, or for turists. I didn't like they have so high prices, and not just for the prosciutto.
