Location, people and atmosphere are one of a kind

My partner and I went there for dinner and we had a great time. Very good food and super high quality, not to mention the super particular and detailed explanation of the wines. Especially because it was done by Mr. Nicola who pampered us all evening. Top service and perfect location. We thank the maitre Nicola again because with his dedication to the customers he made our evening even more special.

I stayed at this resort surrounded by greenery but ten minutes walk from the Palazzo dei Diamanti. Free parking available. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff was very kind.

Magical place that seems to have jumped out of fairy tales. Excellent cuisine, very friendly staff. Suitable for elegant and intimate dinners.

Location Bella e tranquilla, vicino al centro di Ferrara, cibo buono. Parcheggio spazioso all’esterno, possibile raggiungere il ristorante anche a piedi anche se la strada è molto isolata e buia (strada che passa davanti al cimitero ebraico).

Excellent quality dishes, the cocoa tortelli were original, but the cocoa flavor completely covered the gorgonzola, pears and walnuts. The pork ribs with honey and whiskey are tasty and plentiful. The wine offered is also good. The environment is nice, very well looked after, but when the room is full it is a little too noisy. The only real flaw was the service which did not respect the correct times for the first courses, not serving all the diners at the same time. Corrected the account.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa bella struttura nel week end pasquale. Edificio antico ben ristrutturato, ma soprattutto immerso nel verde, lontano dai rumori della strada e del centro, ma comunque vicino ai monumenti principali, noi abbiamo sempre raggiunto il centro a piedi, con belle passeggiate. Ottima accoglienza, gentilezza e disponibilità, ci hanno perfino anticipato il programma degli eventi in città nel periodo del ns soggiorno. Camera e bagno ampi, ben insonorizzata. Ristorante alla carta a disposizione dei clienti e per gli esterni, noi abbiamo optato per la cena del sabato e il pranzo pasquale: tutto buonissimo e senza lunghe attese nonostante i clienti esterni. Ottimo buffet dolce e salato per la colazione. Se dovessimo tornare a Ferrara, sicuramente ritorneremo presso Principessa Pio.

Fantastic location, within the Este Walls, a corner of the countryside, peace and tranquility. Excellent quality food. Attentive, thoughtful, intelligent service. Worth trying many times.
