Fantastic restaurant for Ferrarese dishes! The restaurant is beautifully located within the city walls, where cultivated fields still stand. When you step outside, you find yourself in the heart of the historic center. It takes advantage of the renovated stables, with a modern style. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food service is beautifully decorated; I really enjoyed it. The wine menu complements the dishes and offers regional wines. They offer cappelletti and capellaci, purée and salami for sauce, and zuppa inglese. Fantastic!

A Sunday unlike any other, a family lunch with grandparents in tow. We chose this place after reading some very positive reviews. The atmosphere is refined and sophisticated, with a modern contrast from the past. The dishes are exquisitely crafted, and the staff is attentive with excellent suggestions for the dishes. Special thanks to Mauro and Nicola, not to mention the other staff. A truly wonderful Sunday. Highly recommended.

Kind staff and a beautiful resort

Friendly and helpful staff, a green oasis in the center of Ferrara with parking, a clean and tidy room, and excellent dinner and breakfast. The property is well renovated, beautiful, and functional. Excellent, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Principessa Pio during our first days in Ferrara. The price–quality ratio is honestly 11/10 you truly get so much more than what you pay for. It exceeded all our expectations. Before arrival, we already had great contact by email with Sabrina, who gave us many helpful suggestions for the evenings when the restaurant wasn’t open. She also assisted us with booking a taxi and provided very clear information about everything. The service was outstanding from the very beginning. There is plenty of parking, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything was spotless. Housekeeping was excellent: towels were replaced, toiletries and shampoo were refilled, and we even received fresh bottles of water every day such thoughtful details. Breakfast was simple but perfectly fine, and the staff even served coffee at the table, which we really appreciated. We also tried the restaurant once it was good, though not exceptional. What truly made this place special for us was the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire team from reception to the chef to housekeeping. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is also ideal, very close to the historic center of Ferrara. Definitely recommended we would happily stay here again!

I arrived at this property with friends for a weekend. The location is quiet, not far from the center. We were welcomed with great professionalism and friendliness. The cleanliness, food, and staff were excellent. I will definitely return.

A very appealing menu and, in addition, a truly exceptional wine list — something refreshingly different from the usual. Pretty generous portion sizes.

The welcome was excellent, the rooms spacious and clean. We had a relaxing dinner in the restaurant, which served excellent traditional Ferrara dishes.

I had lunch with my family on Christmas Day. We had a great time and the food was excellent. I congratulate all the staff who made our day special. I especially thank Nicola, Lidia, and Alina, who served us professionally and always with a smile.

We had a Christmas lunch with friends. The interior is very welcoming, with well-spaced tables, historic vaulted ceilings, and friendly and knowledgeable waiters. Excellent food: pumpkin gnocchi with crispy pancetta, chestnut tortelli filled with sausage and ricotta, all excellent. The appetizer and platter were one of the best I've ever tasted, the gnocco fritto was superb, and the cheeses were excellent.
