A restaurant in the heart of Burano, with a stunning view and excellent food at reasonable prices. The two of us had spaghetti with squid ink and fish & chips, both very good.

Yesterday we had lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria Principe while visiting Burano. We walked past several places, but this one stood out because of the colourful umbrella shaped covers over the outdoor seating. We grabbed a table and looked through the menu. They offer plenty of choices. Here is what we ordered with our personal ratings Margherita Pizza rated 3/5 Fish and Chips rated 2/5 Both dishes tasted below average. The pizza was dominated by the tomato sauce and the fish lacked crispiness and tasted a bit bland. The service, however, was very good and the staff were polite.

The food is very good at reasonable prices, with many pizza flavors (with the option to customize), and the pasta is generously portioned and tastes great. The pizza also comes with regular and spicy olive oil.

20/09/2025: On the advice of friends we stopped to take home some pizza by the slice and honestly it was very good, especially the one with aubergines because they were fried and it was wonderful.
