Premiata Gnoccheria e Risotteria in Varese is a guarantee! Exceptional food and perfect service.
We started with the crostoni with burrata and anchovies, simply delicious. The risottos, however, are the real protagonists: the truffle risotto is a must, while the Poretti beer risotto surprises for its balance and originality.
The location is truly wow, with the brick arch that creates a warm and evocative atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who love traditional cuisine revisited with care and quality!

Definitely welcoming atmosphere and good service.
The only note on the service is that they brought the coffee before the dessert to make us free the table due to their delay due to a missing chef that evening.
We had two appetizers, the asado was very good, the gorgonzola dish was nothing exceptional.
Then a trio of risottos where the only good one was seafood.
The porcini mushrooms and blueberries are discreet while the truffle is too unbalanced, obviously Castelmagno butter and truffle.
Nice selection of wines well served.

Really very satisfied, very good food and a truly welcoming place that is very suitable for a winter dinner :)... the only price point is not too cheap but truly a wonderful experience for a dinner

It's not bad apart from the risottos 🤣
Honestly, given how popular it is, I expected a lot more.
A plate of gnocchi was truly phenomenal
The rest nothing so striking... normal indeed,
the rice was slightly overcooked!
Anyway good come on...

On my daughter's recommendation we went for lunch on Saturday 16th November with the whole family. We had a great time with excellent risottos and gnocchi. The ancient room with exposed brick vault is beautiful. Advised

Andiamo spesso alla Motta in coppia e alle volte con amici per fagli provare queste deliziose pizze e devo dire che tutti ne rimangono entusiasti e diventa anche per loro la pizzeria a Varese dove gustarsi delle ottime pizze ,con vasta scelta alla carta e a ogni stagione c' e sempre una nuova novita' di pizze speciali decisamente buonissime.A nome dei miei amici riporto i loro complimenti per i pizzaioli,lo staff( principalmente Alex) e la solare e gentilissima proprietaria Alessia.Un caro saluto da tutti ....a presto

A Varese ci sono molte pizzerie ma a mio parere questa e' la migliore x l ottima qualità delle materie prime ,per la leggerezza dell impasto ( che non ti fa ' bere tutta la notte) e per la professionalita' e gentilezza dello staff .I prezzi sono adeguati in base a ciò che si sceglie ,se si vuol spendere poco basta ordinare una margherita!Leggo alcune recensioni e rimango basita,oggi anche solo per un panino spendi 8 euro .Cmq consiglio questa storica pizzeria che vanta la gestione da 30 anni ,complimenti ad Alessia e Cristina grandi titolari che con dedizione e forza mandano avanti questa favolosa pizzeria.Complimenti anche allo staff.Un caro saluto.
