I was looking for a special restaurant for an equally special occasion, and I couldn't have made a better choice.
I called on short notice and they accommodated me in every way, from the choice of table (outside and extremely romantic) to the attention to detail, ensuring the evening was a perfect success!
The menu was very interesting, with excellent, carefully prepared, and plentiful dishes.
The service was always attentive and discreet, but I must give special thanks to Marcella, whose kindness ensured we lacked nothing and added a touch of joy to an already wonderful evening.
Excellent value for money, I absolutely recommend it.
We'll be back soon!

A very elegant restaurant, with attentive and polite staff. We tried the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms from the Cortona woods, which were very good and plentiful. For lunch, we tried La Pancetta del Preludio, the restaurant next door under the same management. It was more rustic, but the dishes were very good! We tried the roast beef with tuna sauce and the pici with Chianina ragù, both delicious.

The atmosphere is very elegant and welcoming, the staff is not only friendly but also very competent, the cuisine is absolutely meticulous, with quality products, impeccable presentation, and flavor/cooking/quantity that is absolutely 10/10! It's usually difficult to find all these characteristics with the same top quality. Here they succeeded.

Esto fue un descubrimiento inesperado para nosotros. Un entorno encantador, con un servicio tan amable y cortés. Los muchos extras pequeños hicieron de esta una comida muy especial. La comida era deliciosa y muy bien preparado y presentado. Recomendamos encarecidamente Preludio - uno de los mejores restaurantes de Cortona.
