A return to excellence: the chefs are worthy of a UNESCO World Heritage Site! We returned to Prato Gaio and the experience exceeded all expectations. If we loved it the first time, this time we were enchanted. The cuisine has reached incredible levels of refinement. Obsessive attention is evident in every detail, from the balance of flavors to the aesthetic presentation; nothing is left to chance. We tasted practically every dish on the menu and there wasn't a single off note: a gastronomic journey where each course was better than the last. But the real secret here is in the kitchen: the chefs have a knowledge and a skill that I would almost describe as touching. They are, without exaggeration, worthy of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you're looking for true fine dining, crafted with passion and impeccable technique in a fairytale location, this is the ultimate place. Bravo!

We had dinner last week. A villa with a retro feel bordering on stale. The food was adequate (serving coppa di testa, a cheap cured meat, in a place like this is unacceptable considering the prices). The chocolate salami was made without biscuits and was sticky. The portions were very small, and the tagliolini with sardines were decent. The service was slow and inattentive. Despite the place being half empty, we even had to wait for the menus, and there was a lot of noise from the kitchen.
