My friends and I would like to thank the owner and staff so much for the excellent dining experience in a truly historic and beautiful location, featuring a top-notch selection of local delicacies. Excellent, high-quality food and a delectable taste. The atmosphere is very original, comfortable, and pleasant. The staff is superb, very professional, and the service and friendliness are excellent. I hope to return soon. My friends and I are so happy we found this excellent dining experience. We stumbled upon Pozzo della Mensa by chance, and I'd say fortunately. An osteria in the truest sense of the word: a cozy, intimate place where you can enjoy typical local dishes, served simply but carefully. Eating well and...healthily is no given these days. We had dinner here and returned the next day for lunch. The osteria is located in a small alley in the center of Assisi, yet sheltered from the hustle and bustle. There aren't many tables, so it's quiet. The dishes are well-prepared, carefully prepared, and above all, delicious. You can taste the ingredients and taste the good food! I recommend stopping for a bite to eat, pairing it with a good glass of wine, and soaking up the atmosphere of this old-world city.

We had lunch here and were completely satisfied. We started with a warm and tasty homemade soup, followed by excellent grilled meat, cooked to perfection. The dessert was delicious and carefully prepared. The cleanliness deserves a special mention: the place is meticulously maintained and tidy. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended if you're passing through Assisi!

18/02/2026: The best lunch in Perugia, value for money at FABULOUS. It has a homey feel, one of those places where you can spend hours drinking, chatting, and eating. The owner is a truly nice person. The bathrooms are super clean. Almost exclusively locals. The dishes are delicious, all homemade, using top-quality ingredients. The meat melted in your mouth. Service is fast. The house wine is excellent and not acidic. We had an appetizer, two first courses, a second course of sliced ​​steak, a side of vegetables, half a liter of wine, bread, and water. €51.00. PERFECT. The only small drawbacks: the desserts didn't appeal to me, and the complete lack of parking. I STRONGLY recommend booking. Note: They are CLOSED on Saturdays, but that's fine.

01/03/2026: Courtesy and quality! With a set menu, I didn't expect to eat so well! Everything was delicious and high-quality! Kindness and courtesy from all the staff.
28/02/2026: We had dinner last night. The menu is fixed and costs 18 euros per person (drinks not included). The dishes change daily. Yesterday, which was Friday, the menu was: an appetizer of three focaccias (tomato, potato, and onion, delicious!!). Two first courses: yesterday they had square soup with chickpeas and homemade tagliatelle with tomato and basil sauce. Everything was excellent. The second course was fried chicken and mixed salad, followed by vin santo with tozzetti, also homemade. The staff was very kind and attentive. We had told them we would be coming with my dog, Olivia, and they were very kind to her too. Everything was truly excellent: food, service, and attention. Highly recommended!!!
