I had dinner with a friend. The place is truly charming, with typical Assisi architecture. The staff was super friendly. Service was quick. We both had tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles and with truffles. It's a shame that both pastas lacked salt. Otherwise, everything was fine.

A comfortable atmosphere accompanied by an excellent menu and attentive, welcoming and kind staff.

We arrived at this somewhat secluded place, on a side street, but just a stone's throw from the center, having been fooled by an arrogant, blunt, and unwelcoming response from the manager of another restaurant (Trattoria degli Umbri). Inspired by the secluded location, we sat in the outdoor area, which proved welcoming and always respectful of the architectural setting, a characteristic of the place. We were greeted by friendly and skilled young waiters, attentive to our needs and desires. We ate excellent, flavorful lasagna with Bolognese ragù and an amazing pork shank, incredibly tender and flavorful! All accompanied by an excellent wine (pecorino) and an equally excellent dessert. The prices are fair for the location and, above all, for the quality, but also—I want to emphasize this once again—for the service. There are indoor dining rooms that can accommodate guests in the winter and are very well furnished. Welcoming. There's no loud music, except for a barely audible, pleasant soundtrack that allows you to talk quietly without having to shout. Thanks to these talented and passionate young people (and they say young people don't want to work!!!)! I highly recommend the menu include side dishes of wild herbs, so typical of Umbria!

This is a lovely place, tucked away from the main deag, with beautifully cooked food and open-air tables in a secluded courtyard. Very friendly staff too.

Very pleasant atmosphere, kind and helpful staff, I asked for a change to a dish as I am lactose intolerant and they immediately took care of it, excellent value for money recommended

I'm back for the third time. There must be a reason. The friendliness, hospitality, food, and location—what more could you ask for? Run by a very capable Albanian brother and sister. Truly, congratulations.

I have been all over Europe and to Italy 5 times. Never have I had such a sublime meal as at Osteria Pozzo Della Mensa. The ravioli was amazing and the rolled pork wrapped in guanciale, lightly dusted with rock salt before plating, was bursting with flavor. You don’t want to miss out on this restaurant. A lovely and welcoming osteria, a bit out of the way of the usual eateries in touristy areas. The staff is warm and courteous. The menu is varied and interesting, I believe, with something for everyone. There are options for celiacs and vegetarians. In any case, the staff is very helpful. The osteria has outdoor seating in a small, charming side courtyard. The interior rooms are quaint and pleasantly furnished. Everything we ordered was very good. We'll definitely remember this lovely osteria when we return to this area.
