Posides In Positano

The best food I have tasted ever. Want to visit Amalfi coast again just to visit this spot.

Our meal at Posides was the best meal we had in Positano. The real standout was the lemon shrimp tagliolini which we would highly recommend ordering! The restaurant is small which adds to the intimacy of it. Service was excellent.

Delicious tiny spot in Positano, not too far from the port! We ferried in for the day just to grab lunch and loved this cafe! It’s very small- only 5 or 6 tables plus one on their patio and one out the front door, but tables do turn somewhat quickly so we didn’t see anyone have to wait. The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing and all extremely fresh. Breakfast is served until 12 and then Lunch menu begins. We had a caprese salad, ravioli with smoked mozzarella, and a sea bass dish which was the best fish dish during our time here in Italy! We also got their homemade tiramisu and gelato, both of which were great. Definitely recommend this spot, and if I come back to Positano I want to try breakfast- when we walked in they were finishing up and peoples plates also looked delicious!

Amazing food and friendly staff! When we went, they just had fresh truffles delivered, so the chef whipped up a dish using the truffles and it was delicious. I will def revisit if I go to Positano again. Chef deserves a michelin!

My husband and I had lunch at Posides and it was one of the best meals of our entire trip! The food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. I had the gnocchi alla sorrentina and my husband had the pasta with sea bass with the Posides and limoncello spritzes. I still dream about it! We also booked a private cooking class with Antonio and it was one of our favorite experiences we’ve ever had. We made 3 courses that can easily be recreated at home with lots of delicious wine. Antonio’s mother also joined us and they truly made us feel part of their family. I could not recommend Posides enough.

Such a friendly and fun place! We were lucky to get the only balcony table with a beautiful view to enjoy our delicious food.

Recientemente volvimos de 16 días en Positano, y fue unas vacaciones maravillosas. Aunque disfrutamos de la belleza de la ciudad, la gente que conocimos y las muchas comidas deliciosas que tuvimos, lo más destacado de nuestro viaje fueron los almuerzos que tuvimos en un pequeño restaurante llamado Posides. El restaurante es de propiedad familiar y está administrado por dos hermanos y su madre con la asistencia competente de otro miembro del personal. Antonio es el joven chef sobresaliente, su hermano Eladio es el saludador y el personal dedicado. Su madre, Analetta, supervisa las actividades del restaurante y hace todo lo necesario para que los huéspedes se sientan bienvenidos y cómodos. Carolina apoya a la familia a completar tranquilamente tareas importantes para garantizar que la experiencia gastronómica sea agradable. Antonio utiliza ingredientes de la más alta calidad y frescos para preparar los platos como se ordenan. Su comida está perfectamente preparada, bien horneada y proporciona una experiencia sensorial como ninguna otra. La parte increíble de esta experiencia es que Antonio, Eladio y Analetta hablan con sus invitados como amigos que están en su "casa". La conversación no es disruptiva, de hecho anima a todos los invitados a conocerse como lo haría en una cena. El restaurante de 15 asientos está vivo con los olores de la comida maravillosa y la conversación animada. Viajamos a Italia bastante a menudo y esta pequeña joya en las colinas de Positano es manos abajo nuestro restaurante favorito de todos los tiempos en Italia. Comimos allí al menos 6 veces durante nuestra estancia, y en ningún momento nos decepcionó la experiencia. Si tienes la suerte de visitar Positano, Posides es una visita obligada. Recomendamos cualquiera de los platos de pescado, la lubina era nuestra favorita y los platos de pasta son sencillos pero llenos de sabores locales y representativos de la región. Nuestro favorito era el relleno de ñoquis y ensalada Caprese. No podemos agradecer a Antonio, Eladio, Analetta y Carolina por ser personas maravillosas, cálidas y cariñosas que continúan con la tradición italiana de que partir el pan con los demás pretende ser una experiencia que no solo llena tu estómago sino que toca tu alma.

Una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos de toda nuestra luna de miel de 2 semanas! La madre y 2 hermanos que dirigen Posides hacen comida increíble y tienen un servicio increíble! Nos sentamos aquí durante horas disfrutando de la comida, la gente y el ambiente. Sin duda recomendaría y volvería de nuevo la próxima vez que estamos en Positano!
