Words don't do justice to the wonderful vibe Antonio and Brigid have created at Posides. They display a contagious passion for food (Antonio is the chef), wine (Brigid is the sommelier), and atmosphere (they are the most welcoming hosts). The restaurant offers panoramic views of Positano and rewards the ascent from the town square below. We enjoyed fresh local seafood, a refreshing salad, and a nicely paired local Campania wine (thanks, Brigid). Positano has many riches to attract visitors and Posides is one of the top for me.

We had a few hours in Positano and were looking for a good spot for lunch. We tried to avoid the restaurants that were immediately accessible when dropped off at the dock.
The google reviews and ratings were glowing for this place. And all of the photos of the food looked amazing. We didn’t realize there was a trek uphill to get there, but it was worth it!
We only had to wait a few minutes for a the table to be cleared. It’s a small space, but super cozy, which allowed for impeccable service. And the view from the table outside is stunning.
Besides the food being outstanding, no really it was the best meal we had in Italy hands down. I’m just upset it wasn’t closer to the area where we were staying because I would have eaten there everyday. The dishes were all fresh and the plates were beautifully presented. The biggest standout was interacting and observing the staff. It felt like being in a family kitchen and it made us feel at home. We shared conversation and laughs. It was a highlight of our trip and I would go back just to dine here again.

BRAVO! Highly reccomend Antonio and the restaurant at Posides. They’re open for breakfast and lunch (and sometimes dinner). The food is incredible - fresh, delicious, cooked perfectly. It’s a smaller restaurant (I think it seats like 20-24 people at a time) so get in when you can! The menu changes every day based on what’s fresh and what the chef is in the mood to serve. You truly can’t go wrong with any of the dishes!
We also did one of Antonio’s cooking classes at night and it was worth every penny. You’re there for about three hours and you learn a lot, all while having a great time. We made pasta from scratch, meatballs and tiramasu. We told Antonio that we liked seafood, so he made our pasta course with fresh clams. Antonio is going to be a world famous chef someday - he’s an absolute star. Get in his classes while you still can!
I’ve been to 20+ restaurants in Positano and this one is by far the best. Thank you Antonio and family! We can’t wait to come back!

Un restaurante/café bastante pequeño al lado de la carretera y fácil de perder o ignorar - pero eso sería un error, ya que tienen una encantadora selección de vinos (tuvimos el Néstor Refiano, que era ligero y refrescante). Almorzamos allí - el prosciutto y melón era hermoso y la polpeta deliciosa. Porciones justo bien - llenando pero no abrumador. Coste razonable. Servicio atento, puedo recomendar altamente. Ojalá hubiéramos encontrado el lugar antes en nuestra visita.
