Excellent raw fish, everything else is fantastic and Marco the owner is a very kind person. Very professional staff. 10 out of 10 place.

Highly recommended. It's hard to find a flaw in a place where you're greeted with a smile, served politely and kindly, and never, I repeat, never ignored, not even once, because with so many seats, that's okay. That doesn't happen here. Add to this the freshness of the products served, the deliciousness of all the dishes from appetizers to dessert, and the quantity (it's hard to get through to dessert). The price is super competitive for a dinner of GOOD FRESH FISH, with drinks included (truly absurd). Try it and believe it, but obviously a place like this is always packed. Kudos to Leonardo for creating all this: he's always on the front lines like a true captain.

My name is Matilde. I went to this Portobello restaurant in the Casalotti area for lunch on August 13, 2025, to celebrate my birthday. I immediately had a great time; they're very welcoming. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service excellent, the food was cooked to perfection, and I hadn't asked for cake, but they brought it to me as a surprise. They're very sweet.

Portato da un amico , non posso che descrivere positivamente i piatti assaggiati in questo ristorante. Ottimo l’antipasto di crudi così come i primi ed il secondo. Unica nota negativa un cameriere maleodorante.

after years of frequenting this place every time I find something new leonardo the owner a great man it feels like being at home with him his welcome is not found everywhere a rare and genuine person returning to the food whatever you order always impeccable of a high standard the prices are very accessible for all budgets excellent service his staff very present without being invasive the perfect place that offers everything and more with very fresh fish and quality meat impossible to be disappointed thanks leonardo a hug from danilo and jessica rita antonione

Ristorante La Gardenia

06/09/2025: I went last night with my partner for the second time to this masterpiece of a restaurant. It's incredibly beautiful, truly elegant, and the owner and staff are incredibly kind, professional, and extremely helpful. The food was excellent, the octopus alla diavola (it's actually a whole octopus) was spectacular, and the wine was excellent. What can I say? We'll definitely be back! And finally, it was my partner's birthday. The waiter probably overheard us talking, and at the end of the bill, the desserts were offered by the owner. A very nice and much-appreciated gesture, thank you very much! Go there, you'll be amazed! Congratulations to the entire Gardenia staff! See you soon, Matteo!
28/08/2025: Gardenia is a magical place. The atmosphere is meticulously maintained and elegant. It has a street-level entrance, but there are a series of stairs to reach the various rooms. My husband and I dined in the outdoor area overlooking the lake, and it was truly a magical experience. The service was courteous, attentive, and punctual. The wait for our dishes was short, and the attention to detail was truly excellent. Regarding the cuisine, I can only confirm what has been said so far: the dishes were delicious, and the recipes were unique and sophisticated, complemented, of course, by some classics (the ever-present scampi risotto and lobster tongues, to name a few). Personally, I was very satisfied.
