Un po' appartato dal caos e dalla frenesia del centro metropoli, a circa 10 minuti sulla M3 dal Duomo e facilmente raggiungibile da Milano, il Bar Porto di Mare è un autentico consiglio da insider che va contro il mainstream. Lunedi mattina. I primi ospiti abituali sono già sulla porta e aspettano di essere ammessi. Alle 7 in punto Paolo apre il suo bar Porto di Mare in Via Giovanni Battista Cassinis 13, 20139 Milano. È nel suo bar dalle 6 del mattino a preparare cornetti freschi. Paolo si avvicina alla macchina per l'espresso e in un batter d'occhio evoca 4 Caffe Doblo e 2 Caffe Macchiato per i suoi ospiti mentre il suo collaboratore di lunga data prepara tavoli e sedie nel piccolo giardino coperto per gli ospiti sulla strada. Il profumo del caffè fresco attraversa il suo piccolo ristorante e trasforma anche una grigia e piovosa giornata autunnale in un allegro inizio di giornata. A pranzo c'è una piccola selezione di piatti abbondanti, fatti in casa, della tradizione italiana per soddisfare ogni palato. Si respira la passione con cui Paolo, la moglie ed i suoi dipendenti conducono con dedizione l'azienda di famiglia da 15 anni (1992). L'ospitalità è la massima priorità qui. Oltre a bevande e cibo, il bar è anche un Bar Tabacchi dove è possibile acquistare tabacchi, francobolli, ricariche, dolciumi e cioccolata. Anche se non c'è altro da fare (è sulla strada per San Donato, capolinea della M3, un piccolo bazar), vale sempre la pena fare una piccola deviazione per un cornetto fresco con caffè al mattino prima di iniziare il giro nel Passarci quando inizia il frenetico e affollato centro storico, o per un pranzo tradizionale ed economico in tutta tranquillità, dà un tocco positivo e autentico alla visita di Milano. Un must assoluto per chi vuole sperimentare l'autenticità italiana. Altamente raccomandato.

The food is delicious and the service is very good. I recommend ordering bread with Nutella and a good espresso. The owner was very kind to us, he even spoke Spanish and English!

Qualità accettabile. Prezzi un po’ alti per mangiare un pranzo veloce in considerazione che è un bar.
