The sea port is a very welcoming and familiar restaurant managed by the owner in an impeccable way, the staff is very welcoming and the dishes are of excellent quality. I recommend everyone to go there.

I ate at the restaurant and what can I say, nothing special. The pacchero with swordfish was decent, just bland. The mixed fried fish with lots of fish with bones was annoying. The shrimp were gutted, which isn't bad, except that there was a slight hint of ammonia. The wines were good. 🍷 Too bad no one asked us if we enjoyed the dinner.

A true gem on the Praia a Mare boulevard! Everything was delicious: super-fresh fish, generous portions, and authentic flavors. But the real highlight was the owner, who welcomed us with a rare and genuine warmth, making us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back; places like this aren't found everywhere.

27/12/2025: We were there in the middle of August and had a great meal, but today, December 27th, we were a bit disappointed. The seafood pasta had a bit of sand in it, the tuna steak was overcooked instead of seared, the paccheri with swordfish and eggplant was practically tasteless, and the grilled meat was so-so. Maybe it was just the tiredness of the Christmas holidays...

The atmosphere is meticulously designed, making you feel at ease. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The menu is extensive and well-researched. Each course is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors are balanced in preparation, with a presentation that demonstrates great care, sophistication, and passion for cooking. A wide selection of wines is recommended by Pino, sommelier and owner of the restaurant, who will guide you with expertise and friendliness in choosing wines, creating perfect pairings to enhance every flavor. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and refined gastronomic experience or a pizza cooked in one of the two wood-fired ovens, with the added bonus of a direct sea view.

24/01/2026: I always enjoy returning to Il Corsaro restaurant in Scalea. The pizzas are exceptional, and the cuisine offers excellent first and second courses. The owner, Gianluca, and his wife are cheerful and very friendly, creating a relaxed, family atmosphere. The ideal place for a quiet evening with good food. Highly recommended!
15/01/2026: Not Neapolitan pizza but made with good ingredients and easily digestible.
