I've been to Pompei Magno restaurant, and I must say it was a truly amazing experience. The pizza was exceptional: light dough, incredibly fragrant, and quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. But what moved me most was the unique atmosphere when they served us dessert, a small bag of millefeuille filled with pieces of Annurca apple... what can I say, a unique sensation.

We were there four years ago and still talk about the culinary experience today. The first evening, we had pizza and octopus and were so impressed that we broke our "never eat at the same place twice" rule the following day.
Since we couldn't decide what to order, the chef suggested we put together a "surprise menu" ourselves.
One course more delicious than the next emerged from the kitchen... a delight! I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I needed a restaurant for lunch after visiting Pompeii, and as a coeliac I needed good gluten free food. The food was excellent and the servers very nice and welcoming. They are certified by the Italian Celiac Association so there are worries about carelessness or cross contamination. My non-coeliac wife said hers was the best meal so far on our Italy trip. Magno is about an extra 20 minutes walk from the Pompeii site, but absolutely worth it. Don’t settle for a tourist trap - make the effort to get to Magno and get the authentic, fantastic Italian dining experience with genuine Italian hospitality.

We chose this place for a basic Neapolitan pizza dinner. The chips were excellent, the fried foods were delicious, and the multigrain pizza dough was delicious.
Unfortunately, we didn't like all the pizza flavors we chose; some combinations weren't, in our opinion, winning.
The price, without dessert but with bottled craft beers, was about €35 per person...perhaps a bit too much for the area.

Saturday in Pompeii😍
Yesterday we were in Pompeii and decided to go to Pompeo Magno. I have to say, I'm always a little afraid to try new places because I'm celiac and my mom is lactose intolerant, but they were truly a wonderful discovery!
Excellent food (almost everything homemade: bread, breadsticks, and fried foods) both gluten-free and gluten-free. The prices are fair, and the place is very cute, but above all, the staff and owner are incredibly kind.
The only downside is that it's a 3-4 minute drive from the Sanctuary, or a 15 minute walk, but there's a large, convenient parking lot outside. It's honestly worth it!
