Average pizza. What makes this place unique is really their atmosphere and view. It’s a little bit pricy.

The pizza is good. The rest of the food is also not bad, refined, but the portions offered are definitely not worth the exorbitant price. The most beautiful thing remains the beautiful terrace overlooking the high hill.

It is by pure chance that we ended up at Pomo d’Oro while visiting the lovely old town of Colle di Val d’Elsa. I had previously located a pizza restaurant via a review and had saved the name. When we got there, the place, which was next to Pomo d’Oro, had no pizza on the menu! Turns out the photo in the review was taken at Pomo d’Oro. And it wasn’t a regret to have entered there as we were looking for pizza anyway. And what a pizza! Just delicious! High quality ingredients. Good portions, good service with English speaking staff, which wasn’t always the case in restaurants. I’d visit again if I found myself in the region once more.

The place has great attention to every little detail, the interior is particular, fanciful and elegant. The outdoor terrace has a wonderful view of the very suggestive city. The pizza is very good and you can feel the high quality of the ingredients, the charcoal dough is very light and digestible. The desserts are amazing and the guys are very kind and nice
