We were lucky to find such an amazing restaurant. Once inside we were blown away by the service and ambiance. From the wine, to the antipasto, to the main courses the attention to detail was everywhere.

My son recommended we try this restaurant while in Rome , having raved to me about the food . I guess I wax off put by being seated in the basement with zero atmosphere (this after having made a reservation 3 weeks in advance) I found the waiting staff downstairs to be junior and not that attentive for a Michelin plaque restaurant. That being said, I was underwhelmed by the food - ordered catia Pepe , my wife the cod , both arrived Luke warm (also our appetizer) . The only way to describe the presentation is ‘manufactured’. It felt not fresh but right off the assembly line.
I was expecting a better calibre from Michelin recommendations.

You’re immediately welcomed by the lovely staff, who lead you straight to your table (booking a reservation is a must!). The interior is pristine and beautifully decorated. They offer a good menu selection with a nice wine list, and they’ll bring out complimentary, delicious sourdough bread and olive oil upon request. We ordered three pastas: the Carbonara, Amatriciana, and Cacio e Pepe. All of them were absolutely delicious, but the Carbonara is a standalone must-try! However, you can probably skip the tiramisu. The service is attentive, and the entire staff speaks fluent English. Needless to say, this is an exceptional restaurant and a must-visit in Rome.
Excellent Michelin-starred restaurant, very traditional Roman, in a cute alley. Nice, well worth it, fair price and excellent service. You have to make a reservation, don't make a reservation downstairs.

draw attention to the Rigatoni Carbonara, which was EXCEPTIONAL. The service could not have been better, and the atmosphere both inside of the restaurant and in the small alley leading up to it is great. I would recommend making a reservation.
