I expected more. Overall, the experience was just okay. Limited selection of dishes, with little or no choice for those who don't eat dairy. The carbonara was good, but I've tried better. The amatriciana was definitely a no-no.

Amazing food, lovely staff and great atmosphere!! Forgot to take a picture of the starter, but absolutely loved the bruschettone with mortadella, caramelized red onion, radish, gorgonzola cream and pistachio!

Absolutely amazing experience at Poldo e Gianna! We went twice in just four days because it was that good. Everything was perfect, from the food to the atmosphere. A special mention to our server, Ido, who was outstanding attentive, kind, and truly made the experience even better. Highly recommended, a must in Rome! 🇮🇹

Cosy place in a hidden backroad which has been beautified by many trough plants, thus making a pleasant access. The reception was remarkable friendly and the food was of excellent taste. The choice from the menue is limited, but with good variations. We had the wine from the glass, which was prime quality for 7-8 €. Overall highly recommendable, pretty full, prebooking (by internet) advisible.

A wonderful experience at this elegant osteria, serving excellent traditional Roman dishes. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Located in a quiet alleyway just steps from Piazza del Parlamento.

08/12/2025: We expected better after reading the reviews. The tomato and mozzarella salad was bland, with cardboard-like lettuce, and the €12 starter was completely overpriced. The main courses were okay, but nothing special; not really the Italian vibe we were looking for. One positive point was the complimentary limoncello at the end.
08/12/2025: The atmosphere was super pleasant and the food was very good. The lasagna I ordered was excellent; they brought bread, and the rosé wine we ordered was very tasty. The limoncello wasn't too sweet and was very good, but the surprising one was the melon limoncello, which was like a meloncello, very delicious. It tasted like a drink we consume in Brazil, but tastier. I highly recommend it for couples, or even for someone alone; the food was great.

03/02/2026: Positive experience and very good food. I found it unpleasant to have to pay for a dish left at my table during the mixed appetizer; I had no way of knowing it wasn't part of my order. To be charged, without even a single euro discount, for a dish I didn't order and was the result of a staff error leaves me perplexed as to how they know how to run a restaurant in this place.
02/02/2026: Exquisite food, from appetizers to dessert, impeccable, fast, and attentive service. An extraordinary experience worth living...
