Loved the appetizer and tiramisu — would call home about it. The carbonara is supposed to be “the best in town” but I’ve had similar in town, although the pancetta was really the highlight; I’d skip if you don’t LOVE carbonara. The service was alright, I saw other ppl get better service, couldn’t tell you why. Overall positive experience.

A very good restaurant, with elaborate and delicious dishes, a good wine list, and a small but excellent selection of desserts. Highly recommended. I didn't make a reservation and the service was wonderful, but I recommend booking, especially on Fridays and weekends, because it gets very busy. Excellent value for money.

No lie. This was probably the best meal I've had in 52 years (Tempura Baccala, Rigatoni di gragnano Catbonara, Nostro Quarto di Pollo....). Beautiful setting, great service.

Before our trip to Rome, this restaurant was recommended to us as one of the best – it's been featured in the Michelin Guide several times. They say it has the best carbonara in the city. To get there, we made an online reservation for two. Our reservation was confirmed – from 7:30 PM plus two hours. A 15-minute delay allows us to cancel the reservation. We arrived early. Tucked away in the back of a narrow, dark street, there was no sign and not a soul in sight. However, by the time it opened at 7:30 PM, a small crowd of customers had quickly gathered. A polite reservation check followed, and we sat downstairs at a small table and studied the menu. The calm, tasteful interior underscored the restaurant's status. We ordered the carbonara and – at the waiter's recommendation – the beef stew with potatoes. A bottle of decent Prosecco Brut was also added. The room was full. Prompt waiters brought our orders, and we enjoyed simple but delicious Italian dishes. Then comes dessert, a superb microscopic espresso, and the wonderful evening comes to an end. The prices here are absolutely reasonable, making this prestigious restaurant affordable for repeated visits. So, we recommend booking a table and coming here for the experience.

We did a full 4 courses and it was fabulous. Excellent value for money. The seasonal specials were excellent. Flavours bold and presentation well done. Service attendant and very personable. Wine list very reasonably priced. Overall a wonderful evening.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed… lured by the “Michelin recommended” label, we came to eat lunch at this osteria. The food was very average… served lukewarm, the worst pasta of our trip. And what can I say about the service? Very cold, a bit like the pasta… We gave it a try…

We had the best experience at Poldo e Gianna. My mom and I visited here on a recent trip. We were trying to find something somewhat off the beaten tourist path with fantastic food. This place did not disappoint. J was our server and we ordered exactly what he recommended. He did not steer us wrong! Sad that our trip isn’t longer and we don’t have time to go back. We’ll definitely return on a future visit!

08/03/2026: I discovered this place yesterday for a dinner for two. For meat lovers, it's the best! The quality of the meat, which is also home-grown, is very high. There's a wide variety of choices to satisfy all tastes. The wine list is very good. The portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and accompanies you throughout the dinner. We were greeted with a very tasty entree from the chef, and after dinner we were offered liqueurs and dry pastries. I will definitely be back! Congratulations!
19/02/2026: Discovered by chance, this place was a real surprise. Just steps from the EUR district, nestled in the Roman countryside, this farm and agriturismo offers a welcoming experience and quality food. In addition to the calves, cats of all colors and sizes, who live alongside the foxes in the surrounding area, will welcome you in the large parking lot. The entire dining room staff, as well as the grill and kitchen staff, are truly hospitable, helpful, and attentive, ready to provide details and advice on the various menu items. The welcome appetizer (pictured) is delicious, and the homemade bread is fragrant. The quality of the ingredients, predominantly local and artisanal, is excellent. Various cuts and types of meat are available, all excellent, although not cheap. A simple setting, likely converted from an old stable, is also suitable for families with children and groups. A quiet, quality break.

11/05/2026: Always good, well-prepared pasta dishes, well-cooked grill, the baked potatoes weren't perfect, and the zuppa inglese was dry. Some of the traditional Roman dishes have disappeared from the menu, but overall, it's a good place. The wine cellar is top-notch, and the selection method is pleasant.
09/05/2026: My partner and I had lunch at this charming restaurant, with its warm, welcoming, rustic atmosphere, reminiscent of a mountain hut. The menu was varied and captivating from the first glance (and then convincing upon tasting)...especially the FIRST COURSES (such as the Porcini Mushroom and Sausage Mezze maniche, creamed in Grana Padano) and MAIN COURSES (such as the Grilled Chicken Thighs with Aromatic Herbs and the Sliced ​​Beef with Coarse Salt and Rosemary). Our experience was made even more enjoyable by Alessandra, who, despite her young age, demonstrated expertise, kindness, and professionalism in her service. We will gladly return.
