Kindness and helpfulness: they accommodated us, four of us, despite only having a table for two, at our request given the late hour. Food: borderline touching. The crescia, sausage, and chicory is NOT TO BE MISSED! Super generous portions. The price is commensurate with the quality of the food and service. It's a shame we ended up there on the last day of our vacation...but we'll definitely be back (sooner or later).

Very nice location!
It's a sort of butcher shop-cum-restaurant (you can already tell from this the quality of the meat).
The menu features various traditional dishes and, of course, many types of meat.
The owner is very friendly and kind and knows how to explain every dish on the menu perfectly, giving excellent advice as well.
The crescia with sausage and chicory is simply illegal! I could have eaten as much as I wanted.
But the gnocchi with parmesan cream and prosciutto are also delicious.
Prices are average.
I will definitely be back to try some of the meat dishes.

We decided to spend a weekend in Recanati to immerse ourselves in Leopardi's atmosphere, amidst poetry, silence, and inspiring landscapes. "Poesia e Tavola" proved to be the perfect place to complete this experience: a truly special place, where every detail exudes care and passion. Our senses were delighted—from the aromas of the kitchen to the authentic flavors of the dishes, to the warm welcome that made us feel at home. An experience that combines culture and flavor, just as we expected from a land so rich in beauty and poetry. Thanks to the owner and all the staff. See you soon.

High-quality food and excellent service, a true osteria. Excellent value! We didn't try the starters, but they looked very inviting.
We went straight for the meat and it was a fantastic experience. Recommended if you're visiting Recanati, it's just 5 minutes from Casa Leopardi.

Poetry at the table is a fitting name.
A butcher's shop that doubles as a restaurant, with top-quality products, incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection.
Crescia with sausage and sautéed chicory was delicious—not the usual puff pastry, but slightly leavened, unique, I must say—and I was pleasantly surprised. The sirloin with lard and orange—I needn't even say it. Definitely generous portions.
Authentic Marche cuisine in a unique location.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner is a true gem himself.
Excellent value for money.
Highly recommended.

Excellent, everything was truly delicious. Wide selection of meats, with different cuts and seasonings.
Super friendly, hospitable. Everything was top-notch. Prices can vary greatly depending on what you order and the cuts of meat, but everything is well-described.
I'd also add that I think they deserve a 5+ for putting sanitary pads in the bathroom for anyone who suddenly needs them. An act of civility that practically no one has. Well done, really!

Kindness, friendliness, and excellent food, generous portions and carefully prepared local cuisine. Wine can be selected from the open shelves, and the prices are more than reasonable.
