We are a club of former thirty-year-olds with 50 years of experience and on the Tuesday of Holy Week we wanted to celebrate Easter with a buffet at the Pizzikotto in via Soderini. The manager of the club went to speak with the director of the club to agree on attendance, price and menu and then brought a written document of what had been agreed. On the evening of the buffet we showed up but the manager was absent due to illness, undisturbable and above all she hadn't said anything to the staff who initially appeared annoyed and unhelpful! However, given the agreed document, he reacted quickly and set up the buffet in twenty minutes. So no stars for the management of Pizzikotto and 2 stars for the staff for their response. The food was good especially the desserts. After this I stopped for dinner and ordered some panzerottini which, as you can see in the photo, are really good; filled with cooked ham, parmesan, tomato sauce and smoked provola which prevails over all tastes. Nothing to do with the classic tomato, mozzarella and anchovy panzerotto. I then ordered a margherita pizza with onion but they used caramelized onion and I guess what pineapple pizza is: it was sweet! There is better in the area. The restaurant does not have dedicated parking and in any case it is difficult to find a parking space, it allows access for disabled people and there are dedicated bathrooms, reservations are required but I stopped in for a surprise dinner and there were several free tables.

Be careful at midday the cheap fixed menu increases by 2 euros at the checkout!!!

Locale accogliente e personale fantastico. Bello il posto e pizze buonissime, con varietà nel menu pranzo ad un prezzo buono.
