Pizzeria Vesuvio In Verona

11/01/2026: This historic restaurant offers traditional Veronese cuisine. The main course is risotto with Amarone, which we were able to try thanks to Simone's kindness, who offered us a free plate! We also had other dishes, such as venison and snail tartar, and gnocchi with prawns and cod, which were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it!

07/01/2026: We wanted a traditional aperitivo, and after doing a little research, we landed at Caffè Monte Baldo. It was crowded, but we were still hopeful, so we decided to wait for a table to become available. After a not-too-long wait, we sat down and began by ordering crostini (from the thousand and one options available at the counter) and, trusting the advice of the young man who served us, some local sparkling wine, unknown to us. It was a much-loved pairing, and we were so happy we finally decided to stay for dinner as well. The attention and care we received lasted the entire evening; our experience was excellent. If you happen to be in Verona, don't miss it!!! Highly recommended ;-)
