If you happen to go to Savona like me, go and eat at the Pizzeria & Ristorante il Vesuvio, the staff are all smiling and very kind, the Pizza is fabulous (the typical Neapolitan pizza), even the choice of dishes made by the chef are excellent, not to mention the desserts, in short, going there you can't go wrong, the prices are in line with quality and price, Bye guys and see you next time

Great restaurant in the heart of Savona. The service was quick; there was no need to queue. We went at 1:15 pm on a Wednesday. The spritz and the pasta carbonara were very good.

I often eat at Vesuvio. The staff is friendly and super helpful, and the service is quick. The selection of dishes is excellent, as they're all top-quality, and there's no shortage of new dishes on the menu. Prices are more than fair and affordable. I highly recommend it!

01/03/2026: A wonderful surprise. Better than other restaurants I've tried in the Siena province.
09/02/2026: The atmosphere is somewhere between rustic and intimate. The cuisine is traditional, but not overly so; there are also some dishes that aren't traditionally Tuscan. Personally, I would have preferred a little more Tuscan and less of anything else, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, the food was good: the ravioli—I don't remember the specific name—were delicious, with a ricotta and vegetable filling that I couldn't identify, and a good ragù. The mixed grill was plentiful, though not particularly outstanding. The complimentary bruschetta as an appetizer was appreciated, especially the ones with caramelized onions. The service was friendly and fast.

14/03/2026: A friendly, family-run neighborhood restaurant with a very warm welcome. The staff is smiling and attentive. Excellent pizzas and pasta, with other options available. Very reasonable prices. Charming, old-fashioned decor. Thank you to the staff. (Couple's dinner).
03/03/2026: I can't say enough about my lunch on Sunday, March 1, 2026: tasty, well-served, and plentiful food at a more than reasonable price. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by; you won't be disappointed.
