Welcoming place, fantastic people, professional waiters, and a superb pizza chef—everything was delicious and excellent! We'll definitely be back; I think the pizzas are the best in the entire province of Reggio Emilia.

I came for dinner by chance, as it's close to the hotel where I'm staying. It was such a revelation that I ended up eating two pizzas. The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. The pizzas arrived in no time. Everything was perfect, thank you. If I ever stop by, I'll definitely stop by.

Tabarin Osteria Popolare

17/03/2026: My family of three had a lovely lunch at Tabarin Osteria Popolare in Reggio Emilia. The restaurant is right in the historic center near the cathedral and the local market. It was completely full, and luckily my husband made a reservation for 2:00 pm or we would not have gotten a table. We started with a delicious local salumi (meat) tray served with warm bread. My son loved his carbonara, and my husband had tortellini in Parmigiano sauce, which was excellent. If you are visiting Reggio Emilia, I definitely recommend this spot. Great food and a lively local atmosphere.
