Edit: We recently came back to Verona, and I was very happy to see that they have maintained the quality, consistency, and taste of their menu. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Verona. Great job!
Original: This location still holds the title of the best pizza I have ever eaten. The owner of the shop is very friendly. The pizza here is fantastic, and I still talk about wherever I go in the world. Hands down, best pizza ever. I will ALWAYS come back here when I am anywhere, even close to Verona.

A few meters from the church of San Zeno there is this intimate pizzeria with a large terrace.
Quick and helpful service.
Artisanal dishes made with quality ingredients.
The simple tomato pasta is made with fresh tomatoes!
The mixed fry with potatoes, Ascoli olives, onion rings, mozzarella and fish balls is delicious.
Excellent pizza.
Ideal for a quiet and regenerating lunch break before continuing your visit to Verona!!!

I have known this pizzeria for more than 13 years, I can confirm that the quality of the products is truly excellent, they serve both pizza but also delicious traditional Italian dishes.
Their service is also really good, Mr. Nicola and sweet Patrizia have been proudly carrying on the business since 1989, exactly 35 years!
If you want to admire Piazza Sanzeno but above all the church, this is the right place.

Pizzas were ok but had better elsewhere in Verona. Do avoid the pasta dishes here - the egg on the carbonara was literally scrambled, I’m not Italian but can make a carbonara without scrambling the egg - this should be an elementary dish any self respecting Italian chef should have mastered. Dull and dated decor. There are many better restaurants in San Zeno and Verona.
