Antonello has undoubtedly carried on the family tradition in a unique way over the years, improving the location and improving the quality of the food, until it became a unique place, where it's worth waiting in line to eat. Congratulations, highly recommended!!!!

La Piedigrotta in Varese is a stylish, modern pizzeria with a trendy vibe. The interior feels fresh and lively, with a good atmosphere overall. The music, however, didn’t quite match the rest of the place, it felt a bit off compared to the cozy, authentic pizzeria ambiance. Still, the setting was enjoyable. The staff was very kind and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant. They were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You have a lot of options, in my opinion a bit too much. We ordered pizza, and while the flavor was good, the base was a bit soggy, likely due to too much moisture from the mozzarella. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you prefer a crispier crust. The location is great: right in the heart of Varese, tucked into a charming little street. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace as well, which adds to the charm, especially on a nice evening. One small downside: part of the ceiling inside looked a bit old and slightly dirty, which stood out in an otherwise well, designed space. All in all, a good spot for a casual dinner in Varese, stylish, central, with friendly service and decent pizza. With just a few tweaks, it could easily be great.

Nice place but it could use a general refresh, the service was very good, all the girls were very kind. We ate quite well, our expectations were much higher, the premium deconstructed marina pizza is a great idea but definitely too expensive for what it actually offers. A la carte, the premium version is sold for a minimum of 2 people at a cost of €35 each, at the register it cost us much more, we spent €30 just for the pizzas plus €70 for the separate fish dish. €100 for what we received is really too much!!!!! If you then add two desserts, a coffee and drinks you can imagine!!!!!!!

I'm Neapolitan, I grew up with pizza, and I travel a lot for work!!! But I have to say that this good pizza, both for the dough and the raw ingredients, is truly the best!!!

Siamo stati ieri con i colleghi a mangiare , beh che dire , sono a Varese da due anni e questa personalmente è la miglior pizza mangiata qui.

Da sempre la pizza più buona di Varese, ingredienti di alto livello, personale gentile e disponibile, birre e vini speciali, insomma non si può perdere!!!!
