Glad we booked a room with a view/balcony, because this was the absolute highlight. Loved sitting out in the evening. Location is great as right next to the boat dock. Breakfast was an extensive buffet, and lovely outdoor area. Check-in staff were a bit odd, quite Fawlty Towers. You can't control the temperature of the air conditioning - and we could only turn it off by tripping the switch on the fuse box, which was annoying. Fantastic stay overall.

In my opinion the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Limone. The hotel is very beautiful with a crazy view. Despite the mix-up with the room the staff was really kind and quick to find a solution. Breakfast and restaurant were decent. Worth it!

Convenient location to reach the center on foot. However, you cannot drive to the property and must call the hotel which will provide an instant free shuttle service. The staff is helpful. The hotel offers nice services by booking directly from their site; 2 hours of free spa not far from the hotel, tasting at the castle and discount at their restaurant. Questionable room: we found some hair on the hairdryer, limescale encrustations on the shower edge but otherwise clean, during the night we woke up due to the heat and the air conditioner wasn't working, we couldn't keep the window open because the balcony light stays on at night, furthermore the room is quite small but it makes up for it with the balcony with the priceless view of the lake (for which we paid a supplement) and there's all the essentials. The breakfast was complete but not of extreme quality. Overall we had a good time
