18/03/2026: Whenever I feel like indulging in a sinful indulgence, I head to Ciccio's for one of his Pangoccioli: soft brioches, or rather, "brioches," that you can fill as you please, choosing from a multitude of fillings on the spot, a fact that always raises profound Hamletic doubts in me. The place is small, and inside are photos and memorabilia that showcase the owner's passion for Roma, something I personally appreciate and share. In addition to desserts, there are also savory dishes, which I won't comment on, since I'm a sweet tooth and have never actually tried them. I prefer going during the week because, on weekends, the line of customers to get in is incredibly long, so much so that it spills onto the sidewalk in front. However, as far as Pangoccioli are concerned, there are various types: from the simple filled ones to the ones embellished with a snack "embedded" in the top part, obviously at a higher price.
