Highly recommended pizzeria in Trastevere. Very good pizza, normal prices, friendly waiters. Better to book to make sure there is room.

Versatile

19/05/2025: The Versatile Café is a real gem on the map of Rome! From the first step inside you can feel the warm, friendly atmosphere, and the service is extremely polite and helpful. Coffee - sensational, aromatic and perfectly brewed. In addition, delicious, fresh pastries that taste like home-made. The place is stylishly decorated, with attention to detail, which makes you want to come back there. Perfect for both morning coffee and a quiet afternoon with a book. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place with soul in the heart of Rome!

22/05/2025: Probably our worst dining experience in our 10 days in Italy. Also the only place that awkwardly asked for a tip. We were seated in an area with an okay view but indoors even though it was empty (would have preferred outside). They came by incessantly 5+ times like every minute to ask for our order and then were never seen again. Food tastes good but was super overpriced. No listed prices for fish which was $$$$$. We sent over 100 euro on sea bass. We felt rushed even though it wasn't busy. It's clear they treat Americans very differently from Italians. Also the wine was gross but in their defence I didn't like any wine I had in Rome.
