The pasta and fried fish were very good. The pizza and dessert weren't as good.

Another culinary experience in this beautiful city. In my opinion, the best pizza ever, even if only tasted by the people I was with. I chose a very fresh and delicious fish main course ❤️

Long live traditional trattorias, offering tasty, home-style Neapolitan cuisine; battered cod, lemon scallops, meatballs in tomato sauce, excellent broccoli rabe, in short, grandma's recipes... plus excellent pizza. Delicious desserts too... and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, we were in the downstairs room, which was the only downside. The food was good, and the service was also good. Unfortunately, the downstairs area, besides being very damp, suffered from a bad smell coming from the bathrooms. I wouldn't return to stay downstairs, but if there are a lot of you, you have to stay down there.

Pizzeria Osteria Manfredi was a solid stop in Naples. We had the seafood risotto and shrimp linguine — both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated, like they were trying to impress without overdoing it. The seafood was tender, the pasta cooked just right, and the flavors balanced well. Basically, everything your Italian nonna wishes she made on a weeknight.
The calamari? Good. Not mind-blowing, but good. Think of it as that dependable friend who always shows up but never quite brings fireworks. Still, crispy and well-seasoned — I’ve had much worse.
Desserts were where the kitchen really flexed. We had two, because moderation is for quitters. Both were rich, perfectly portioned, and ended the meal on a high note. Service was warm and efficient, and the place had that easy-going local charm that makes you want to linger.
Overall, a strong four-star experience. Very good but not quite excellent — like it’s auditioning for greatness and just needs one more rehearsal.

A reliable address for Neapolitan cuisine.
The rainy evening left the traveler feeling as humid as possible.
The restaurateur of the Manfredi refuge in Chiaia took care of refreshing the body and spirit, bringing to the table four fantastic cod meatballs, superbly dipped in a delicious sauce.
Next, the Genovese, made with all the trimmings that allow this dish to excel here in Naples.
The fragrance and crunchiness of the bread ensured that mopping up the sauce from the meatballs eliminated any residue from the plate.
The sparkling white wine complemented both courses well.
The service was courteous, cheerful, and efficient. The price was fair. Well done, we'll be back.
