Pizzeria Manfredi In Napoli

Delicious food, very friendly people, great location in the middle of Italian life

We went to "Manfredi" on our last day in Naples. We trusted the recommendation of an acquaintance. They seated us outside in an uphill alley. Quaint but not very convenient. We had a Margherita and a pasta with potatoes and provola. We liked the dishes. Not all the desserts were described correctly. Mine had chocolate that hadn't been mentioned. We found a surprise on the bill: an additional charge of 10% of the total, which also includes the cover charge. Perhaps this charge is mentioned somewhere on the menu. We've never encountered it in other places. We didn't see it, nor did we look for it. If you have to study the entire menu like a contract to avoid surprises, in my opinion it's best to avoid it.

Fast service, super delicious pizza with a wide selection, you can sit outside in a nice and protected place, easy access from the metro or bus, very good value for money

The pizzas we had were truly amazing. The waiting time was ok, the location is very cozy. Yet, there are some things that could be improved: Based on the location it is really sad, that the menu is available only in Italian. Also, they are adding an extra 10% tip to the bill of which we had no idea in advance. I consider this unfair, as it should be our choice to leave a tip or not.. Mind these fact.

I've become a regular customer; I've felt at home since day one! My favorite is undoubtedly the Pasquale pizza, with provola, pepper, and anchovies, and that extra touch of a ricotta-filled crust. The fish is always incredibly fresh, but the real highlight is the tempura shrimp cocktail: simply exceptional! The boneless red mullet is sublime! Ignazio, his wife, and the entire staff are the BEST!!!

We went as a group of four, and honestly, it wasn’t a great experience – the only dish that actually tasted good was the beef pasta, while the pizza was bland and came 5 minutes late, the seafood pasta was basically just mussels with no other seafood, and the entrecôte came with Lays crisps on the side, which I’ve never seen in a restaurant before and felt quite cheap. Although the house wine was nice and the terrace had a good vibe, we couldn’t even smoke at our table despite sitting outside, and what annoyed us was that the gents next to us were served properly with their courses spaced out, whereas ours all came at once despite ordering starters separately. Overall, the food was disappointing, the service inconsistent, and while the location is great with plenty of bars around, I definitely wouldn’t go back.

Pranzo a base di pesce cucinato in maniera eccellente. Servizio preciso e puntuale. Massima cortesia di tutto il personale ed il proprietario è stato di ottimo aiuto nello scegliere le pietanze migliori. Sinceramente da consigliare a tutti

Il locale bellissimo in un quartiere caratteristico di Napoli. Il locale sembra una bomboniera, il personale di una disponibilità e simpatia unica. Ho voluto assaggiare vari tipi di pizza e sono stati tutti eccezionali. Il pizzaiolo è un vero maestro ha dato prova di un talento fuori dal comune La loro pizza Manfredi è un gusto veramente particolare e da provare
