We found it by accident. It was not a warm welcome and we were almost put off by the 'long wait to sit down at 21.30hrs.' We order to take out as there was 'less to wait. Clearly overworked unhappy waitresses.

We had a quick dinner, finding the place almost by mistake, but we ate very well. I had a calzone kabab, which I was completely satisfied with. It's a shame the interior is a bit dated.

This is our neighborhood pizzeria. The service is friendly and quick; the calzone kebab is fsntastic; the wine is very good snd locally sourced; you can't best the prices. I highly recommend this pizzeris to snyone in the neighbourhood.

01/02/2026: An interesting place to buy Italian food, especially if you are a tourist in Trieste. The place is quite close to the main square, practically in the center. They mainly sell non-perishable food, wine, olive oil, and sweets, but there are also bistros where you can sit down for a coffee or a meal. Parking is available underground (paid, €2/hour, cash only) or in the parking lot next door (also paid). If you don't want to look for a supermarket, this is a good option for buying Italian products.
19/01/2026: Nice market with italian restaurants under the same roof. We enjoyed ‘self-fish’ taverna with delicious fritto misto.

19/06/2025: Very close to Porto Vecchio!! So if you find yourself near there, and want a pizza, plz go! They’re very friendly. The pizza is above average! Many seats to sit! Many options! Good price! Pay by card friendly.
