Had a lovely meal here this evening, we sat inside as rain was forecast. The space inside looks recently renovated, an old building but modern & clean.
The waiter apologised for a delay in taking our order as they had some big tables to look after but we thought it was reasonable. . I had the tenderloin beef with chicory & it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in the last 10 days!
We have paid a cover charge in other restaurants in Verona, I think the use of the word SCAM by another reviewer is dramatic, It’s just business and it’s highlighted on the menu.
I would go back but we leave tomorrow.

Pizza & Chips were nice, carbonara had a hair in it & I think sending it back caused some upset as the next one that came out was super salty so we couldn't eat it. The service was poor, the waiter didn't want to come over until we literally asked him to for the hair. Location is nice, but yeah disappointing first meal in Verona. Also they put a bag of bread on your table and if you touch it you pay, but they just walked past didn't say anything and put it there.

A wonderful traditional restaurant, a little off the beaten track. I highly recommend the stuffed tortellini. They're handmade. The menu itself is a real eye-catcher, with a brochure full of interesting information. The service staff is very kind and friendly, with a good sense of humor. This certainly won't be my last visit to Verona, and this restaurant will once again be one of my first addresses.

Excelentes pizzas de masa madre sin gluten con tres páginas de opciones de ingredientes en el menú dedicado a pizzas GF y solo 2 € de coste adicional sobre las pizzas no GF. Personal atento y un entorno encantador.

Unfortunately, things have deteriorated considerably... We were here four years ago, and it was great. This time, the service was poor: drinks were empty, no refills, no question about whether the food was good, cold pasta, and an age-long wait for the bill. It's a shame, it used to be nice here...

Tourist pizzeria in the magnificent Piazza Dante. Good pizza even if the dough is not special. I asked for my pizza to be well cooked but others in the order were... Anyway, courteous and very attentive service.
Updated 05/19/2025: I was there again for dinner and the pizza was well cooked. Fast service and always very professional. added two stars. Well done.

All' Impero vado spesso sia per pranzo che per cena. Per me è un punto fisso nella ristorazione veronese. La location è unica e storica, nel salotto di Verona piazza dei Signori. Lo staff è sempre presente e gentile, sanno sempre cosa consigliare ai clienti. Bravi !!!
